Noun + として indicates the capacity, role or function of that noun, usually translated "as":

私は医者としてあななに言います : I'll tell you this as a doctor
セールスマンとして採用された: he/I/she was hired as a salesman
この部屋は物置として使っている: I'm using this room as a storeroom

that part there is definitely "as your brother". I read 何かこう as "somehow"
a more literal interpretation would be " somehow, as your brother..." So i think Danicco is correct in his interpretation.

Sorry I was sorta distracted and forgot to explain that, but yeah I assumed that.
Since I don't think the sentence would make much sense in english with just "Something like this, as your older brother...", you'd usually "something like what?" right?

Then I went as "Something like what" -> "something like only me feeling good" -> "I should do something in return".

Am I even making sense? I don't think I am, but that's what I thought at the time.

Edit: "Well, you are doing something like this with your brother..."
I don't think so because of the 何かこう, if it was that I think he'd say これこう or こんなに (and wouldn't refer to himself as the 3rd person, and/or would put her as the subject of the sentence, among others) or something like that.

I picked "hesitate" for "unwilling" but if it's an already done action I thought "regret" might fit better, same for "until/even".
Not sure if it's correct/fits the context though...

Edit: Just thought of it in another way that might make more sense (to me at least).

If I understood it correctly it's a very "Don't chicken out!" like sentence and I don't think I can do justice to it, but:

"Don't lose your resolve until I've (hit < I think some love is needed here) you with my utmost power (actually here too)!"

My thinking is:
(unreasonably) (overdoing) (face-forwarding) (full power) (utmost) (until), (don't lose your will)

I went with the 2nd definition for 前のめり [dictionary.goo.ne.jp] here, and the 2nd definition for 全開 [dictionary.goo.ne.jp] here.

Translating an author's rant, and stuck on the phrase 某サークルさん - for context, it's ３…某サークルさんの本を読んで続きモノでなくても同じキャラ同作風で何度かやっても大丈夫だと思った. I tried looking up to see if it referred to a specific circle, but couldn't find any information on them; given that the first kanji is apparently a personal pronoun, I considered it could be something like 'my circle', but then I'm confused as to why he'd be getting a new idea after looking at his own circle's books, or referring to his own circle with さん. Is this just an obscure circle he's referencing, or am I misunderstanding something? Thanks.

某 (in this case, read ぼう) just means "a certain". It's a way of noting that you're talking about one particular thing without specifying which one. So you can talk about people all you want without ever giving specific names.

So he's just saying "One certain circle", but not specifying which. It would be odd if he did specify a particular circle here, because putting people's names in your work and writing about them without their permission is generally considered bad manners.

So in this scene a dude kisses a girl, she doesn't really resist, he expected her to since she has a boyfriend, then the dude goes:

the girls answers:
今のは無しにしてあげるから...

無しにして is 'make it nothing'/'pretend it didn't happen'

So it'd be something like "I'll pretend that didn't just happen..."
