In that case I would take it more as "...I'm the one who started/instigated all of this (so you're not to blame)"
Ah my bad, lacked some context, but the boyfriend is the one who keeps asking for it.
The dialogue happens when he's asking for yet another situation and she refuses.
She doesn't want because she always end up terrible afterwards.
I asked on /a/ and got this:
QUOTE
...the verb here means "conquest by subjugation", it is a very rare definition of this verb.
If it's right (seems to be), then it makes sense, as she's the one who gets the receiving part of the BSDM, or being caught, etc
I don't know how to figure this out from the dictionary, but it seems to work out...
Thanks for the help!
Edit: That /a/ thread seems to have a frequent shitposter and now I'm unsure of it... that definition isn't on the dictionary (even though it would make sense), so I think I'll have to re-look at it...
Edit 2: I actually looked up a japanese [
dictionary.goo.ne.jp]
dictionary for that kanji and it actually fits as "subjugation"... but I'm still unsure of the phrase. The dialogue is as follows:
Boy: Hey let's do this (blindfold)
Girl: No way! I refuse because <reasons>
Boy: But this is nothing compared to what we've done before...
Girl: The problem IS what we've done before!
? (assuming Girl):
確かに何でもしていいからって迫ったのは私よ?Girl: But there are limits! Every time I agree to it, always we get rash and I end up miserably
Aahh... now I don't know anymore. Even breaking it up I can't be certain of the meaning of it.
(Certainly) (everything) (doing) (is okay) (because) (quote) (urged/pushed) ([explanation]) (is) (me?)
Edit 3: Also, adding a small floating text besides the bubble to see if it helps with the context:
