3. I think she's simply agreeing with him. I think she's just saying "Yeah... That's true, we'll be able to see each other as much as we want next year," which seems to fit in the context (but I only read the last few balloons, so I may be wrong).

Hm, ok, I thought she'd repond here more like 'Really? That'd be fantastic, yay!' rather then giving such a calm, unenthusiastic reply. But well, maybe it's just like that ;-)

Thanks a lot to you two, learned a lot again :-)

Two more questions popped up for me about an other story.
It's about the second and third panel of this page: https://e-hentai.org/s/c3490bb976/302940-58
"マキコちゃんドライだから私が居てもな"
What does "dorai" here mean? Usually it's just the the english word 'dry', but I guess here it must have some slang-like meaning? So what is it exactly is her friend doing, that she can't go to her place?^^

"やっぱ女なんてアッサリしたもんだよな。。。"
Direct translation of 'assari shita' is simple, easy, openhearted, so is the translation here really "women really are simple" or something like that? Or does it rather mean here something like 'easy-going', maybe even 'slutty'? Or does 'assari shita' just have a different meaning here?
Maybe this question will be clear after I understand that 'dorai' thing ;-)

I'd call it shy, or maybe meek (or not...well, something like that).

It might be the [ja.wikipedia.org] last meaning here: ドライリハーサルの略。 (Tip: the Japanese wikipedia is a good backup resource to search for odd terms.)

I think "easy-going", perhaps; like, "not a care in the world".

Thanks a lot for the help! :-)

Ok, I didn't know the term "dry rehearsal" so I looked it up and from that it seems it's something like when you just practice just for yourself, like for example, at home for a performance instead of practicing in the theater/with the whole band, or such.
Is that about right? (I'm asking because english is not my first language, so I don't know much about such)

And so, he is like "uh, she's just carrying on as if nothing happened... women sure have not a care in the world", I guess?

The wikipedia article it linked to said something about a dry rehearsal (for TV(/movies?)) being one run without the cameras moving, and a camera rehearsal is one where the cameras do move. Since it's a school setting, I suppose Makiko's in a theater club, but I'm not entirely sure what a "dry" rehearsal might equate to there. On the other hand, you could just say she's in a plain old "rehearsal" and that'd work fine; no need to worry too much about translating the "dry" part necessarily.

I guess. It kind of looked to me like he was saying it in response to the girl next to him, but since she says 私は (as in, contrastive は) instead of just 私 perhaps, I suppose he could really be talking about the other girl.

Ok, so he's complaining about his ex Makiko-chan, and in the next page, the girl next to him, says something like "other than her, I got my share of problems", probably talking about her love problems regarding him, that she loved/loves him even though he was the boyfriend of her good friend for a time. I that about right?

Anyways, thanks a lot for the help :-)

"元気にしてたかね?" is often used by noble or conceited person (to humble person).
Not use to friends (except joking).
Anyway, not polite saying (than "元気にしてた?", "~たか?", "~たかい?", or something).

It's "dry" and means "realistic" or "unsentimental".

Means "Women never stick to one thing..." (consider the context related above).

Hm...ok, but why is it a reason for Mizuno to stay away from her good friend? If she's like that, then she should be used to it, right? Or is it that she means that Makiko only turns unsentimental, maybe even rude, after breaking up with someone? Or does "居てもな" mean something else than "to stay away" here?
Sorry, I just can't make a sense of it, if 'dorai' means 'unsentimental' here :-(

Sorry, I can't relate it to the above context, could you maybe explain it to me, please?
For me, this sounds like she (Makiko) moved on to a new boyfriend, but Mizuno said nothing about that, but just her being unsentimental, so I'm confused here :-(

China Mizuno means Makiko Kawamori isn't sentimental about lost-love then, no need to console her.

Sorry, I can't relate it to the above context,

With hearing "Makiko isn't sentimental", Takamine thinks all the women can forget past-love easily.

Aah, ok, now I get it^^
So he was like "Shouldn't you be rather consoling your friend than me?", and she replies like "oh no, she's all ok, I don't need to console her" and he's like "uuh... women just move on like it was nothing, don't they...", and then she's like "I'm not able to move on that easily, you know", something like that, I guess.

Thanks a lot! :-)

Hello again, kind people.

I don't understand how Nazrin's phrase here (https://e-hentai.org/g/497202/3ce3c287d4/ - page 61) fits into context. She says "しっかし武神の弟子の癖に何て無駄な包容力なんだ". Whose "tolerance/understanding"? What does it mean anyway? Why can't a disciple of a war god be understanding?!
Then she goes on "他に向いた道あるんじゃないか?". This is just... What?! What do you mean, Nazrin?!

Please help me or I'll go mad. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

In this context, "無駄な包容力なんだ" means "too open and generous".
Then, the line means,
"Although she is a disciple of the War God(/Bishamonten), how open(/defenseless) she(/Shou) is."

Hello :-)

I had some questions regarding a short chapter:

1.
About the sentence "それがどうにもボクには落ち着かない" from this page: https://e-hentai.org/s/629b8078c0/317501-1
I don't really understand how the "boku ni wa" is meant here. From the context, I'd translate it as "In fact, she never gets enough of it", but how is the "boku" supposed to go in there?

2.
About "私が誰かに見られたがってるのかって?" from this page: https://e-hentai.org/s/41ed8850cd/317501-4
Just wanted to ask for confirmation: "You're saying I just did this for the thrill of being watched?", is that about right?

3.
Same page, last panel, she says "ダサイやつ。。。".
Apparently "dasai" means lame, primitive or uncool. I was curious, could this be also translated as "simpleton"?

1.
In this context, "それがどうにもボクには落ち着かない" means "but, it makes me nervous".
This "It" refers to the first line "彼女はすごくHで……".
And, the line is related to the next line "(because,) 彼女はどこでも求めてくる".

2.
Right.

3.
This "ダサイやつ…" means "boorish", "unsophisticated" or something.
She means "don't let me explain like that, and no need to worry about fickleness".
And she did not blame but just tease him a little.
