And now to what I originally came here for. I had some problem with making out a certain kanji in a doujin (see image) so I want a second opinion. The kanji in question is the one before (壺) (hell, with this quality there's a chance it's actually 壷) in the bottom left. I think it's probably this kanji (藤), but I'm unsure. Coupled with the earlier kanji, it would either be related to Lady Fujitsubo from the tale of Genji or to barnacles. My guess atm is that it a reference to the "bumps" inside a vagina by using the word barnacle. So, anyone got a second opinion to give?

It's certainly 藤壺. And the picture in the bubble seems to confirm your idea --- I'd personally go with 'I found a pink barnacle' or 'I've discovered a pink barnacle', 'Pink barnacle detected', or something along those lines. :P

So I'm typesetting Eroe's work again thanks to the translation effort found on Danbooru. And it's missing translation on some pages again, 2 this time. I realize that asking for complete translation of 2 pages seem a bit out of scope for this thread, so I could set up a reward (just credits or hath though) to those who might be interested to help. Not sure if 2 pages are worth a bounty page of its own. Posting it here just in case.

Hello I'm having some trouble with a few lines.

context: A guy failed at getting a job. His female childhood friend comes over, he tells her what happened, she responds with something to the effect "You still haven't gotten a job?" and the following line right after.

I told you a third rate college would be a deciding factor in getting employment.

context: The childhood friend arranges an interview at the company she works at for the guy but his against it. however his compeled to go and after arriving at the company the guy has this internal monologue. (This is more of a creative interpretation than a translation but I couldn't come up with anything that was faithul to the original and made sense)

Alright, another problem came up so I'm back here again. The one I'm having problem with is the following part in the following image (Page 15 of the Navy book "Shibo Seieki Machine").

No matter how I look at it these two sentences conflicts each other. For now the translation is

先輩は大人ですから！　小さい子がこんな事するなんて駄目です！
"Because Senpai is an adult! Small children are not allowed to do this kind of stuff."

I have a couple of explanations, but I'm not completely satisfied with any of them. The first explanation is that the first sentence could "be Because you want to be treated as an adult?", but it is a long shot and there are a couple of subtle changes that should have been made if that was the case. So as I said, this is a long shot. The more plausible explanation lies in the context. That she should untie him because she's an adult. The previous sentence is

やっぱり駄目です先輩！　お願いですからこれを解いて下さい！
We can't do this after all, Senpai! I'm begging you, please untie me!

So possibly he calls her an adult to appease her and make her untie him but then let's out his true thoughts in the next sentence. The last possible explanation I came up with is that it's a mistake by the author. I would prefer not having to use that card tho.

Sorry, but that's unlikely. It's a part of the setting (of the original work) that he always calls her small so I doubt the author would change that. I will probably just go with something along the lines of what I suggested earlier.
