I don't really get the sentence structure and やるなんて in the middle, so I'm also not sure if the で particle indicates the place of action or cause/reason. すぎる at the end also makes me wonder in combination with the suicide.

I'd "translate" the first line to something filler-like like "Oh well... errr.." instead of "Generally... errr...", but maybe you have better suggestions to fit the flow of the coming sentence.

Maybe some kind person can help ^^

Without the context, this is kind of difficult. Maybe something like, "Frankly, well... Doing it [something? sex?] in the dank, dusty old school building, it's practically suicide!"

ultimaflaral got most of it right, but あの here is just means "that" (あの旧校舎).
"Frankly, doing it [something? sex?] in that dank, dusty old school building, it's practically suicide!"

Edit: "old" should probably be replaced by "abandoned", too.

Yeah, abandoned is more descriptive. By "old" I sort of was meaning "used to be", or "out of use". Abandoned is more clear from the get-go.

The context was that a girl wants to hold a her school club's meetings in that abandoned schoolhouse and another girl muses about that. So indeed your translations fit.

I agree that "jimejimehokorippoi" / "humid and dusty" might be meant to be translated into a...not vulgar, but more familiar (the -poi suffix make it a familiar kind of speech somehow), expression (or even a single word if there's one).
And I'm not good at that even in my own language.

The original translation made little sense so I altered it, but I don't know if I got everything right.
The scene takes place after the guy snaps after blueballing for several weeks and has some really intense sex with the girl.

Anything I missed? The original translator also mentioned an additional pun around a seishi that means "young sprite", but I have no idea what that is (精神?)
