I disputed translation on my bounty but my arguments didn't reached the goal. Now editor saying that for proper use there need to be "the jap in the tl so people know where to put the tl". I'd appreciate if someone can look through it.

In the future, just include the whole link please, even if it just goes to a "gallery removed" page.

Including some of the Japanese probably makes it easier on the editor, but at a minimum you need some sort of comments to help direct where text goes. For example, [next panel, upper left] or [box, left corner]. That's generally how I do my own scripts.

As for why it's necessary, looking at your page 4 in the script is enough to make it obvious. First off, the "sex sex" bubble is NOT the first read bubble, it's the second large bubble (manga is RIGHT to LEFT). An editor would screw that up for sure without some sort of directions from you. Second, your script says "Ha, Ha (pant)" on one line, but these are TWO separate bubbles. An editor will never know this if you don't tell him. Third, you apparently condensed both parts of the large box in the bottom right corner into a single line of your script. You can do this, but should let the editor KNOW that's what you are doing. Otherwise he thinks you've left out a part of the translation.

As it is, your script probably IS insufficient to claim a bounty with. If a script isn't clear enough for an editor to use, then it isn't good enough.

I took a look at your bounty description and your rejection justification. For what it's worth, my personal opinion is that Tenboro got this one wrong. That said, there is an argument that this translation is sufficient given that you only asked for a Rank D translator. You can try to talk to Tenboro about it, but my own understanding is that once a force acceptance is made, the issue is over.

There are a few ways you can help prevent this sort of thing in the future. First, I HIGHLY recommend including something like the following in your bounty descriptions: "any other factors or issues that are brought up in PMs should be considered official requirements to claim the bounty." That way, when you tell your translator by PM that the script needs to be done in certain ways (e.g. include a small amount of the original japanese so you know where to place the text), you have justification when he fails to do them. Second, ask translators that you haven't worked with before to submit the script to you BEFORE putting in their claims. That way when you find problems, the translator will have time to fix them before the 1 week timer starts. Finally, many people who post translation bounties have language like "scripts will be double-checked by other translators prior to accepting the claim." That would probably have solved your problem here since your justification says the script was disapproved by another translator. As a final note, if you are going to dispute the bounty, lead with your strongest reasons, not the weakest. Tenboro may not take you terribly seriously when your literal number 1 beef with the script is bad grammar and punctuation.

As for moving forward, I don't think this is the right thread if you are looking for someone to go through the entire script to do revisions. If it were just a page or two it might be possible, but a full doujin is too much to ask for. I see only two real options here. First, you can try to get the original translator to make corrections for proper bubble order, etc. Given that he's probably alienated with you now, the second choice is just put up another bounty. Yes, that sucks, but the script needs more help than you are likely to get for free.
