A great many people request translations via the bounty system. For the bounties, hath and/or credits can be used to pay for translations. I believe the minimum amount is either 20,000 credits or 2 hath. Naturally, fairly few translations get done for the absolute minimum reward. GP cannot be used directly, but the GP exchange can let you trade GP for credits.
