To be honest, though it's more like: "gouge / scrape (deep inside)", I don't know what English words fit to the line.

So I take it that my understanding of the first issue is correct? Everywhere I look it seems like "吐き出す" is used exclusively for vomiting or other forms of expelling something through the mouth.

Ippai = a lot or "all of it".

So it would be something along the lines of "drinking all of it" (if that's the case).


Edit: I *think* it might mean that "(person) drank 1 (cup)" as well.
