QUOTE(mumei-chan @ Apr 21 2014, 07:43) *

I had a question regarding https://e-hentai.org/s/dedf1a5321/551772-84, about the huge bubble on the 3rd panel which is merged from 3 bubbles. What exactly is the girl saying there? Is she talking about herself in the third person? Or about the boy?
Context is, that 4 years ago, the boy went to an abandoned building to read porn books which someone left there, but there was also the girl there, and they did some naughty things (no sex though) and promised to continue with what they did exactly 4 years later. In these 4 years, they almost had no contact with each other, so basically now they are meeting the first time since 4 years.

The first bubble is mostly clear, she's just mentioning the boy. For the second and third bubble, I'm thinking it could be something like "I (the girl) was thinking that what if he (the boy) couldn't forget about the girl (herself), worried endlessly, and thought "I'll assault some other girl!" and called out some other girl to a street at night, but then he comes to his senses, and thinks "Why don't I just confess to her?" to stir up his bursting feelings(?)."
So it's like she's saying that she was worried he'd end up with some other girl, in a very very roundabout way. But then again, I'm not sure at all, so please help me out with this! :-)
@Ser Maggot
In case the question hadn't been answered yet, from the contents page (https://e-hentai.org/s/df6f3f3e1d/66115-319), it seems the artist is "Tenjiku Rounin".

Those next two lines are all about the boy. The part before 男は is a big relative clause describing the boy and then the next two lines are all what the boy did

edit: There's nothing to suggest the girl (speaker) is "thinking" anything or forming any opinions, it's a plain statement (edit: though the tone is 責める-ing the boy)

ugly literal translation

The boy, who went to read an ero-hon and met and had sex with a lewd girl in a dark abandoned building...
After that, suffering from becoming unable to forget about her, he rushed out onto the street at night intending to assault someone, but suddenly returning to his senses..
In order to conquer those uncontrollable feelings, he called out to the girl, thinking "Why don't I could just confess to her"

Rather than conquer, to actually do something about it, I guess
はち切れんばかりの情動, more literally, those emotions which were as though they were about to burst out

@paradeigma
Ah, I see. I thought ものと考えた refered to the girl. Also, it seems I mixed up 飛び出す with 呼び出す x(

So the girl is basically critizing him indirectly for not confessing to her earlier, I guess^^

Thanks a lot for your help and the good explanations! :-)

Anyone know what the circled red panel says? Jyanken is rock paper scissors right? Or does it have a slang meaning?
My guess sounds wrong: "Seems we're only halfway through fucking, let's play rock paper scissors guys."

edit: @paradeigma thanks a bunch! Idk, I'm used to tiny pic and haven't found a good alternative.

あと一周半くらいはやれそうだな > essentially "looks like we can go another round and a half"

It does mean rock paper scissors, as in "You guys play rock-paper-scissors (to decide who gets to do her)"

and then the bottom bubble is the guy saying "Eh, but I've only had one go so far"

also lol why tinypic

edit:s pelling

I'm in need of help once again. First a bit of context: One character is making fun of another for... pleasuring herself in a humiliating way. Something like: "You look so disgraceful like this. And you want to be the proud ..." She ends with this:

百年の恋も醒めてしまいそうね
"You look like you're going to awaken from a hundred years of love."? I feel like I'm missing out on something. Any additional insight would be much appreciated.

If that's all there is to it and I'm not missing anything as far as this sentence goes... I'll just have to go and stare at the context a bit harder to make it make sense.

The 百念 in 百年の恋 is more an expression for a lifetime, as in once-in-a-lifetime love. I guess you already got that 醒める is a figurative "awakening", i.e. realising that that love wasn't all it was cut out to be. Without proper context, I'd assume that the speaker is referring to themselves waking up.

Edit: There's also this lovely saying, 百年の恋も一時に覚める, which says something like even love that has lasted a long time can die in an instant. Soo, guess my "lifetime" interpretation is silly.

That actually makes it make more sense. Thanks!

Yes. Literally, it's "too large", like a shoe that would be too large for one's foot, hence loose.

Good on ya, Kirby.

Should tell Noah to dump those in the slang thread (although i'll admit i didn't check there for Funya. Gabagaba isn't there).
