that one near the end in particular is very strange to me.

Imagine you're writing れ really quickly. The sharp corner at the beginning of the second stroke will start to flatten out. Take it to a stylized extreme and it turns into a straight line from top to bottom before crossing the first stroke.

Learning stroke order makes your recognizing ability up.

I'm just doing it for myself. I don't expect it to be a usable translation in terms of uploading it as a gallery, but perhaps I'll post some of the final translation for criticism if I'm confident in it. I've already done the rest of the first page including Kanji, but I could not tell what these were due to the font.

I don't know how you can read it if you don't know Japanese? Do you mean that you only know Hiragana and Katakana but weren't put off by the styling like I was? Or are you just using hyperbole?

That's fine, I encourage you to get better. That's exactly what I meant, I learned kana like most nerds just to get around menus and such, and like Thira said, the stroke order helps a ton, try to learn how to write em in the correct order and it'll make sense. Of course, the context helps even more, I can't actually tell if it's おつかれ or おっかれ.

I'm pretty new and doing a translation at the moment. I *think* I understand most of it, but having trouble translating a few places in an easy to understand and accurate way.

First one
The line: 男風呂変更に　なったのよ
My initial, more literal translation: The place of men's bath changed.
What I thought was happening: The girl lied that the baths were swapped. The guy believed this, since some Japanese inns do swap the baths depending on the time.
Alternative, easier to understand translation: The baths were swapped.
What's bugging me: Then why didn't she just say "風呂交代になったのよ" or "風呂入れ替わったよ"? I think I'm trying to read too much into this, but would still like to hear a second opinion.

Second one
The line: 私　器用なのよ
My initial, more literal translation: I'm handy at things.
What I thought she meant: She is a good and bright student, it's easy for her to quickly master things requiring skill and precision, such as handjobs...
Alternative, easier to understand translation: I'm good with my hands.
What's bugging me: "Good with one's hands" is only a subset of 器用, giving a narrower meaning. But it really sounds very appropriate in this situation, so do you think it would be OK to go with "good with my hands"?

Any comments, ideas or advice are more than welcome and appreciated.
