Not an expert translator but...

From right, left, middle

For now, would you like to drink this?

No! For me, sake is a bit....(troubling. ie, he doesn't want it)

Then..

Basically, she is offering him the drink she is holding (alcoholic), but he doesn't want it because it is alcoholic.

I see. I thought it was something like that. It also seems my translation (I got for it) is somewhat off. Thanks for the help.

So, I'm working on the author's notes for A Certain Misaka Doujinshi, and I came to this:

もし打ち止めさんの方も気になる ようでしたら、前の本もチェック してみてくださいませませ。

I'm not entirely sure what's going on with it. I get that he's talking about the characterization of Last Order (打ち止めさん), but I can't really nail down what he's trying to say in the first half.

"If you're also interested in the "Last order", please check the (or my) previous book too." Or something along those lines.
チェック してみてくださいませませ。 is just チェック してみてくださいませ。 with doubled "ませ".

Hello, I had some TL questions regarding this story: https://e-hentai.org/s/f61056af65/624045-13

1. About the title "ただいまプール清掃中".
Does it mean something like "Right now, during the cleaning of the pool" ? I'm wondering since "ただいま" apparently got two different meanings.

2. About the bubbles in the first panel of this page: https://e-hentai.org/s/ad75148377/624045-17 (except は はい)
My idea for these were:
"Also, just when were you dropped from the regular's team?"
"Even though you all make an effort during training while trembling in fear..."
"Concerning your current position as a substitute members..."
But I'm really not sure here if I got the meaning right.

3. Last panel on this page: https://e-hentai.org/s/6f9d36ec6a/624045-26
触れると気持ちいい 部分は ここですよって わざわざ 色分け して 教えてるみたいで……
It seems the guy is talking about the tan lines of the girl, which are supposed to be her weak point. My idea was "It's like with the special color coding they're trying to teach me where to touch you so that it'll feel good for you...", but I'm really not sure if it's meant like that :-/

4. Last two bubbles on this page: https://e-hentai.org/s/f20b9ae64b/624045-33
拓魔の濃い セーエキ アタシのナカに 打ちつけて イカせてえっ
I'm confused about the combination "打ちつけて" (to strike hard) and "セーエキ" (semen), I mean, semen is a liquid, so could one strike it hard, is what I'm thinking. Or did I get something wrong here? Also, is this combo common in hentai japanese?

5. About the last bubble on this page: https://e-hentai.org/s/40291ced41/624045-36
でもそんなアイツが好き
Is the sentence meant like "But that's the girl I love" (i.e. no matter how she is, I love her), or rather like "But I love her the way she is" (i.e., I actually love that ero-side of her)?

Thanks a lot in advance!

"ただいま~" means "now (on) ~", "~ right now", "under ~" or something like that.
"ただいま" of greeting is short for "ただいま戻りました" and means "I'm back right now".

2. About the bubbles in the first panel of this page: https://e-hentai.org/s/ad75148377/624045-17 (except は はい)

"Even regular members practice hard..."
"because they afraid of dropping from the team."
"How about you substitutes...?"

It's kinda "hit" or "throw".

All languages have poetic expressions lol.

BTW, it's not "拓" but "拓".

Hello, I have some questions about a translation I'm trying to do right now.

In this page here:

1.何か遠くに行っちまった 気がして... [second panel first square]
I can't get if he is the one who felt like going away or if he felt like she went far his reach.

2.帰ってくんじゃなかったかな[third panel second bubble]
"I shouldn't have come back" <---I'm I correct in this one?

And in here:

1.綾だって せっかく [second panel bubble]
I know it's incomplete but i can't grasp what he is trying to say to make her bite him.

Can someone help me please!?

Right.
But, to express "かな…", you'd better to use "I think I'd better to..." or like that.

And thanks again!

Yeah, I was thinking something around he being scared she'll get in troubles since she is married and all. And that せっかく means he doesn't really want her to stop but he is still asking her to due her marriage.

Thank you!

Hello,

I've been looking at some manga in Japanese to translate as a hobby. I'm new to it and was just looking to see if I could identify the Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji and then make sense of the sentence by breaking it down. It's been fun and I'm just trying to increase my knowledge at the moment.

However I'm having some trouble regarding fonts. I was sure there was a dictionary sort of website that gave the stylized manga font alongside the more traditional ones (Kyokasho, Kaisho, Gyosho etc.) so you could compare and contrast, unfortunately I have been unable to find the website again. Any ideas?

For the majority of the Japanese I can identify the Kana without any problems, but on the first bit of this manga it's got what I think is a manga font, and the Kana just seem very casual and different to how they usually appear. The final Kana (not counting ー) I have found hard to find anything resembling it in Kanji and have just given my nearest guess - which seems a long shot. While the Kanji 屮 looks similar in its computerized form (if not for the right side being up), its handwritten form is a little different again (the vertical line in the middle tapers to the left similar to the #4 radical:"丿"), so I ruled it or any derivative out.

I've annotated it with what I can identify and guesses of the others.
Attached Image

I think the first Kanji is correct due to how it is written by hand, but am unsure to clueless about the others. I'd be more sure of 入 if not for the other character touching it.

I'd appreciate any help with these and tips of where or how to figure out this particular problem, so I can avoid hitting a dead end again.

Thank you.

There is no kanji. Those are all kana:
イベントおつかれ=!!!

Handwriting can be a bitch to figure out, but most authors write with simple characters. You should usually check to see if a character is kana before assuming it is kanji.

Thank you very much! I'm looking at it now and I can see how they got there with some I couldn't identify - that one near the end in particular is very strange to me. Thank you for your expertise. I shall take your advice and assume Hiragana and/or Katakana in future "handwriting situations" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It's surprising to me to see such variation in printed media. I spent the time learning Hiragana and Katakana, read a little literature on it, but they're all so perfectly printed in a standard font that it didn't prepare me for such large variation.

I'm just doing it for myself. I don't expect it to be a usable translation in terms of uploading it as a gallery, but perhaps I'll post some of the final translation for criticism if I'm confident in it. I've already done the rest of the first page including Kanji, but I could not tell what these were due to the font.

I don't know how you can read it if you don't know Japanese? Do you mean that you only know Hiragana and Katakana but weren't put off by the styling like I was? Or are you just using hyperbole?
