QUOTE(bfrost @ Aug 6 2013, 17:54) And, same chapter, this エッチスケッチワンタッチ seems to be an expression, but I don't know it. Any help with translating this bubble would be nice cause I don't think she shouts [ en.wikipedia.org] "Etch A Sketch!" from nowhere like that, lol. You can vaguely liken it to something like "okey dokey". Also, you might consider using Google a bit more. A lot of informal language like this [ dic.pixiv.net] can be found just by searching for the term. (I suppose the title is just what it seems.)

"ちんちん" is babyish saying of "ちんこ(penis)". So, "ちん×ちん"should be "Peenie x(in) Peenie", "Pee x Nie" or something.
"エッチスケッチワンタッチ" is one of old plays on words in Japan and is "H, Sketch, One-Touch". Originally, it means like "You are dirty. Wanna sketch it? Wanna touch it?" But, often used as a play on words for saying "エッチ(dirty)".
You can see she loves old plays on words very much...

Hello, can anyone help me with some doubts? In this last page here, what does ノグッチー mean? I searched in google and couldnt find any definition, google images only shows some sort of gambling ticket as the most common image(and a bunch of people called Nogucchi I guess). After some more searching, found this page by error[ www.kanjiclinic.com] here where they define a "ヒデヨ" as a 1000 yen note for Hideyo "Noguchi" who appears in it. So, it's safe to say that ノグッチー equal to ノグチ equal to ヒデヨ. Or there's another concept I'm missing here involving gambling tickets? And second: When she says "お礼がいっぱい" I can't tell if is she being thankful (as an automated response like "'I'm really thankful for your support") or she's pointing out there is a lot of nogguchii's...? Any help would be really appreciated.

QUOTE(dharumas @ Aug 7 2013, 04:11) So, it's safe to say that ノグッチー equal to ノグチ equal to ヒデヨ. Right. [ en.wikipedia.org] 野口英世Also it refers 1000 yen banknote. QUOTE(dharumas @ Aug 7 2013, 04:11) or she's pointing out there is a lot of nogguchii's...? This. It's not "礼" but "札". And this means she is kinda temporarily broken as she can't recognize she is cheated (he paid 1000 yen banknotes instead of 10000 yen). This post has been edited by Thira: Aug 7 2013, 07:18

Thanks a lot Thira, that nogucchi concept was making crazy.
About she being cheated, I pointed it out that it started the moment she introduced her services as "一回『一枚』でどうですたか?" yet i couldnt explain the relation with those nogucchis flying around. Now I can see she mean to say "一万", and the reason why he keeps repeating "一枚" to cheat her.
Thanks a lot.

Just a quick question, https://e-hentai.org/s/078daf8eae/554131-7There's a Noguchi Mai here. Is that a guy or girl? At first I thought Noguchi Mai was a guy... but now I'm beginning to think she's a girl.

https://e-hentai.org/s/973be9e8a8/389432-1I'm a little bit confused about one line: 視覚ギリギリでウロウロされると すっげー気分悪いの I'm especially curious about "ウロウロされる”. How would the meaning of this sentence differ if he used "ウロウロする” ? https://e-hentai.org/s/bc38d7e555/389432-2There was one more sentence that I didn't understand: 消えられるなら消えてるよ トーテムポール I'm not sure what the last る stands for. If this was used as an imperative statement wouldn't it be "消えられるなら消えて るよ トーテムポール"? Meaning "if you can disappear then do it! You, Totem Pole! Yes, I understand what される means in general. However, I'm not sure how it it used in this 視覚ギリギリでウロウロする means something like "Wandering aimlessly without looking at the surroundings". What I don't understand is how is he feels bad by her "wandering aimlessly without looking at the surroundings". Is it implied that she bumped into him as a result of "wandering aimlessly without looking at the surroundings". That is the first page of the story, so I can't rely on the context. Thanks. That makes sense.

The one saying 視覚ギリギリでウロウロされる it's the girl, not the boy in the floor(chibita). She feels so sick by result of him hanging around her like that(aimless, almost unaware of his surroundings). The context I'm getting is: She's just bothering him. Whether they bumped by accident or she bumped into him it's unclear to me there. This post has been edited by dharumas: Aug 11 2013, 21:42

Hi guys! Requesting some help from translators and suave English practitioners alike (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) The part in question are the last 3 panels of https://e-hentai.org/s/c6e79206bc/467543-17I think the literal translation is something like this: Special delivery-- Uh... Umm-- Your stamp/seal/signature/etc... please... How about... my breasts instead? But here's the kicker (I think). There's a pun here. The personal stamp/seal he's asking for is "inkan". "in" means a mark or a stamp. She replies with "Boin" which means using a fingerprint instead of a personal stamp. Notice the "in" again. But "Boin" is also a vulgar way to refer to breasts. Suffice to say, *I think* it'll be impossible to retain all the meaning? So far the best I could come up with was: Special delivery-- Uh... Umm-- Your stamp... please... Could I give you... A breast-stamp instead? or Would a... Breast-stamp suffice? Any suggestions/help/clarifications here would be greatly appreciated =)

I don't know exactly what it means "special delivery" in English, but 書留 is a kind of letter that you have to sign a paper to receive. I believe it's translated as "registered mail". And yes, the play with boin is just what you got. Thumbprint or "Titprint", "Breastprint" or something. You could actually leave as "thumbprint" IMHO,maybe emphasize the word making it bold. The pun would kind of remain because of how she's portrayed but will be much more subtle.

No pun. I say just give it up as impossible. Just do something like "Will this do instead?" Or you could do something cheesy like "I seem to have misplaced my stamp..." Probably any English pun you could possibly come up with would be worse than that cheesy line.

Thanks guys ^^ The thumbprint vs titprint reminds me of the breaststamp vs stamp thing. Both are possible candidates. Likewise with reception/friction. I had a similar idea given to me by the editor personal seal/personal feel. These were also idea candidates I forwarded to my translator for his opinion (since it'll be his script in the end) I also considered going with no pun just because stamps, tits, and fingerprints don't go well together (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Regardless of which option the translator decides on, I'll be including an explanation of the pun in the credit page. Thanks again, guys! PS I think I had the cheesiest idea in my head (signature/sigtiture (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) This post has been edited by Slobber: Aug 13 2013, 06:24
