What's the meaning of the termination "がな" in "気がするがな."? And yes, it's GAna, not KAna.

It's probably the sort of が that can be replaced by けど.

Hmm, ok. I was in doubt whether it was a positive or a negative statement. Thanks.

A few things about the end of this story please. Center of this page, one scientist mentions the story of the director's wife and daughter. The other one says he never heard it. So one could expect they'll tell the story. But there's only the two following bubbles that talk about it, saying: This test subject body... ...is {/has been made} the spitting image of the director's deceased wife and daughter.Am I missing a piece of information here? I find this explanation kinda lame. :/ Next page. Not sure about やばい in the two first bubbles. I translated them as: Honestly, this job... ...gives me the creeps.Correct? Then I just can't get what おかしくならない方がおかしいんだよ。 is supposed to mean. "I don't know how he went so wrong."? This post has been edited by bfrost: Aug 3 2013, 18:56

Sup bfrost, I'll try to help you( sorry if my english it's not that good ._.) 1- I dont think it's a full story they are refering to, but more of a "talk" (story, rumor) inside the lab.
The whole conversation will go more or less like, "That rumor(talk) about the director's wife and daughter" "Dont know it" "Although, It's about this test subject's body ..." "They say it's been made the spitting image of the director's deceased wife and daughter"
2- "gives me the creeps" " quite dangerous/risky"(just a suggestion, I think yours conveys the meaning of the sentence too)
3-. "おかしくならない方がおかしいんだよ"- As i understand this is a follow up of the last sentence. It can be aimed to the director but I personally dont think it's needed. The meaning would be something like; ("in this kind of job"<---inferred): "Not becoming strange would be even stranger" or "It's more rare(odd, weird) not ending up as a weirdo"
Its a phrase that conveys this whole "you are expected to become weird in this job, if you dont, that would be even more weirder"
Hope this helps.

QUOTE rumor Indeed, that's what I was missing. QUOTE "Although, It's about this test subject's body ..." "They say it's been made the spitting image of the director's deceased wife and daughter" I like this one. As for the 3rd part, thanks to both of you now I can read it. That was great help!

Don't really need this translated but I'm trying to figure out what that used condom is laying on. Maybe if I knew what the sound effects around it were.. [Wondering if it's supposed to imply she knows, doesn't know or if it's just an ambiguous ending.] This post has been edited by Marien : Aug 4 2013, 10:30

Previous page: Those two are acting the same as always. Was it just a dream?
He pushes down the blanket and sees the condom on the seat between his legs.

Er, me again. A couple of things please. How am I supposed to understand the title of this chapter? And, same chapter, this エッチスケッチワンタッチ seems to be an expression, but I don't know it. Any help with translating this bubble would be nice cause I don't think she shouts [ en.wikipedia.org] "Etch A Sketch!" from nowhere like that, lol.

You can vaguely liken it to something like "okey dokey". Also, you might consider using Google a bit more. A lot of informal language like this [ dic.pixiv.net] can be found just by searching for the term. (I suppose the title is just what it seems.)

"ちんちん" is babyish saying of "ちんこ(penis)". So, "ちん×ちん"should be "Peenie x(in) Peenie", "Pee x Nie" or something.
"エッチスケッチワンタッチ" is one of old plays on words in Japan and is "H, Sketch, One-Touch". Originally, it means like "You are dirty. Wanna sketch it? Wanna touch it?" But, often used as a play on words for saying "エッチ(dirty)".
You can see she loves old plays on words very much...

Hello, can anyone help me with some doubts? In this last page here, what does ノグッチー mean? I searched in google and couldnt find any definition, google images only shows some sort of gambling ticket as the most common image(and a bunch of people called Nogucchi I guess). After some more searching, found this page by error[ www.kanjiclinic.com] here where they define a "ヒデヨ" as a 1000 yen note for Hideyo "Noguchi" who appears in it. So, it's safe to say that ノグッチー equal to ノグチ equal to ヒデヨ. Or there's another concept I'm missing here involving gambling tickets? And second: When she says "お礼がいっぱい" I can't tell if is she being thankful (as an automated response like "'I'm really thankful for your support") or she's pointing out there is a lot of nogguchii's...? Any help would be really appreciated.

QUOTE(dharumas @ Aug 7 2013, 04:11) So, it's safe to say that ノグッチー equal to ノグチ equal to ヒデヨ. Right. [ en.wikipedia.org] 野口英世Also it refers 1000 yen banknote. QUOTE(dharumas @ Aug 7 2013, 04:11) or she's pointing out there is a lot of nogguchii's...? This. It's not "礼" but "札". And this means she is kinda temporarily broken as she can't recognize she is cheated (he paid 1000 yen banknotes instead of 10000 yen). This post has been edited by Thira: Aug 7 2013, 07:18

Thanks a lot Thira, that nogucchi concept was making crazy.
About she being cheated, I pointed it out that it started the moment she introduced her services as "一回『一枚』でどうですたか?" yet i couldnt explain the relation with those nogucchis flying around. Now I can see she mean to say "一万", and the reason why he keeps repeating "一枚" to cheat her.
Thanks a lot.
