Bug report: after the recent changes, think that the minimum bounty increase (1000c) does not increase the duration of the bounty.

This would explain why I lost a few a while back that I was sure I increased.

I haven't seen the expiring bounty message, but does it note that a bounty has to be "bumped" to have its duration reset? If it just demands activity or an additional reward without specifying a minimum, there is some room for misunderstanding.

Bump means go to the top of the list, there's nothing anywhere on that screen suggesting this has anything to do with time expiration.

You have to be joking. It was specifically clarified on the first page in the patch note thread what "bump" means, and there is limited room on the bounty page itself. If you want tea spoon mode, have someone make you a script.

How many people do you think have the time to read patch notes? Pages in the galleries should be intuitive to use, not require people do dig through some manuals. Heck, I've been using this system for years and the latest update confused the heck out of me because I didn't read the patch notes. I didn't think I needed too, as the wording is not only confusing, it is plainly MISLEADING.

It was originally less complicated. Then people were whining that it wouldn't allow people that didn't have a lot of credits to chip in, so it was changed again to allow contributions below 5K but not have them have any effect besides "subscribing" to the bounty.

Read patch notes, or don't complain about not understanding changes if you don't. I don't write them just for the fun of it.

You like to make life more complex and still failing in field of putting higher restrictions on bounties.

@Red_Piotrus: Making a program to bumping/increasing bounties by a fixed amount shouldn't be a problem, given it's not prohibited as 10b is a bit allergic against automation of everything connected with e-he.
