Donators got their dawn hath increased. More and more people are getting better internet connections so the percentage of the userbase that sign up for H@H is also growing.
A bigger mystery is the rate of demand shouldn't have risen so much since only 1 new Hath Perk tree was added recently.
The only factors that might matter a lot is that new donations / adopt-a-servers haven't been done in a while. Also the amount of hath from artifacts seems to not give 4 anymore and now energy drinks and another +10 stats are possibilities which lower the chances of getting hath.
Hath may have been increased a tlittle from dawn hath for donators, but it's still not that much.
I get 1 hath a day from gold aura, but I get more from running H@H.
Also, an influx of new players mean an increase in hath demand, as much as an increase in total hath, meaning that the supply doesn't really increase, unless you also auppose that newbies wants to sell their hath instead of getting some of the more useful and cheaper hath perks (like IA1).
The real reason prices go up is because higher level players earn more credits, and are filling out their hentaiverse training, where it becomes far more economical to buy hath than to spend the equivalent of 40-50 hath (or more) on one point of scavenger training, that means a lot of credits are being focused into the hath market, driving prices up.
Higher level players doesn't have all that much else to spend their credits on, and they are the ones selling the items on the WTS-forum, not the ones buying, so they get more credits from there.
The only other thing to spend their credits on is crystals and artifacts, which kinda lose their value when your stat boosts are getting maxed out and you got no need for additional APs, and crystals don't really give a return on their investment but is more for fun and show and bragging rights, kinda like collecting figurines.

Microeconomics is almost pure math. Macroeconomics is math plus a whole lot of irrational influences plus insanely complicated feedback. Just saying...
There are a lot of new places to spend credits, and the supply increased while the demand did also. Also, people speculate and hold unto their hath to wait for the price to go up. If the exchange rate reaches 25000:1 I can pretty much guarantee you that the bubble will burst. In the real world this is what happens to stuff like gold.
Macroeconomics are almost more sociology than actual economy...
It isn't so much about how economy works as much as how people think it works.
And gold has the problem that it isn't really useful other than for trading, so you hold onto it waiting for prices to go up, because there is little else you can do,other than to sell it.
Hath on the other hand is something you use to buy perks, so I don't think there are that many people that are speculating in hath and hoarding it, if they got plenty of hath chances are they'll buy some perks instead, that will increase their gainings in the long run.
If there really is someone out there who has a big stack of hath and no perks and is just waiting for prices to increase even more so they can start selling with a profit, then I'd be really amazed.
The ones that don't want to spend hath on perks is the ones that have most of the cheap and cost-effective ones already, and they usually have little need for credits other than for getting the less cost-effective perks, making hoarding hath counter-productive.
Also, money in the real world can be used for so many different things, while credits and hath are very limited.
You can't go spend your credits on a pizza because you are too lazy to make dinner.

Solution: bring back the old Artifact rewards (5-25 Hath a pop).
I'm no economist, but I'm pretty sure if you flood the market, the price is bound to go down.
It's all for the good of the community obviously, I stand to gain absolutely nothing from this (IMG:[

Yeah, that would make the prices go down.
But why would Tenboro want the price on hath to go down?
High price on hath means more people will find it worthwile to adopt a server slot to gain hath, which means actual real-life money for Tenboro.
If the cost of hath rose to 50K a pop, that still wouldn't affect the game or the site negatively, it would make perks a bit harder to get for those who earn credits, and force people to earn their hath themselves a little more, or buy them at a much lower rate, giving lower level players either more hath or more credits.
I've purchased rainbow aura and IA1, and I have never bought hath on the exchange.
Nor have I ever sold hath either.
(and my join date is far older than the time I've actually been playing the game).
