I have c32 technically done, I just need to give it a vigorous going over with quality control checking.

c31 will begin soon(ish).

Feel free to laugh in my face, or call me a noob, but I can volunteer to do proof-reading, if you want. Got nothing better to do.

Always happy to have more people around; we will need to proof read all of Volume 4 chapters before the collected release. Do you have any knowledge of Japanese?

Some here and there, although most of it I learnt at school 6 years ago is mostly lost (extremely basic stuff). I'm mainly what people would call pedantic. So basically, only suitable for a consistency checker.

I'm just hoping to get this translation and get it done before something *else* happens to give me delays and grief.

I'm interested in your bounty. Anything I should take note of? What about pages 167-175, cuz there's no translation for those.. Not that there's much text anyway.

As for pages 167-175, I only cleaned them up and fixed the ones that were slightly slanted. There really is barely any text on them and they don't need redrawing either. So they're pretty much done until someone posts a translation. And once you get one.. those pages won't take 10 minutes in all to typeset. Although I'm questioning whether this is necessary at all.

Regarding p. 167-175, our translator said those are animator annotations, probably not the most interesting stuff out there, so I am tempted to give up on them. Thoughts, anyone?

If this is the last thing in the whole volume, I'm tempted to not translate them too.

FWIW, if no one else does, I will get to them eventually. I'm just not sure when that'll be.

Welcome to the ninja world. DG begun and finished the project without waiting for any confirmation, and it has to be said that you did write above you are "not touching the final credits until somebody gives them a good once-over". So if the bounty acceptance has lapsed, there was really not much indication for DG that somebody else was doing them, and frankly, I wasn't sure if you were even interested (again, not that I could've done much because I got no more warning of that that you).

As things stand, I think DG completed the bounty fair and square and I see no reason why I shouldn't accept it, although I'll wait for other regulars to chip in before I call this one.

I guess this must be must have been some hell of a timing then. I check bounties like once a year just to see what people are looking for. And it's my first time accepting one, I think. (I might have claimed one once years ago for a standard bounty that earned me 10,000 C though. I sorta remember this, but I'm not sure this actually happened or not.)
So I saw an editing bounty that wasn't accepted yet. I followed the instructions to the latter. I checked this thread and saw KCzz15 old post about not touching it. But since the bounty was active after all, I accepted and posted in this topic. (Again as per bounty instructions.) I also pm'ed Red Piotrus about it. Though by the time I did I was already done editing. I asked him about how he wanted it delivered (I didn't jump him with a link), and he replied a filehost was alright so I uploaded it to depositfiles and sent him the link.

I'm sorry if I ninja'd you KCzz, but as far as I'm concerned I did everything by the rules and instructions. It was just lucky/unlucky (matter of perspective I'd say) timing.

As for the rule to need to contact first before starting to work on a bounty. Unless it's some unwritten rule that I'd have no knowledge of anyway, I don't think I broke it. The bounty instructions required me to post here that I wanted to edit it and pm Red Piotrus. But nowhere did it say I'd need to wait for confirmation in order to start editing.
