Can we get an update on editing of 28?

I'll make it a priority.

If the perfect editing is to take as long as chapter 28 for each chapter, I'd consider putting up a separate editing bounties for a less perfect one...

It's not that I'm going for a perfect edit or anything like that (though I have some standards), it's that I'm *not* a fast typesetter even if I try my hardest to be one. One page generally takes me in the region of 30 minutes and if I really knuckle down and typeset with little in the way of a break for food, I can do one full 20 page chapter in the space of around 12 to 14 hours. Comparatively I could clean an entire volume in the same length of time.

If it's urgent that it's done fast, then that's okay. I just need to know that in advance, though.

Well, no, I am sorry to say what we need is an editor who can get things done in a reasonable amount of time, not two different edits. Kcz has accepted the bounty for 28, and as he is presumably working on it, I am fine with that for a while longer, but bounties 29+ (listed here) are open and unless Kcz can promise a more speedy turn over I am going to declare them open to anyone who can promise an <2 weeks delivery.

This year I had two other bounties that took several months to EDIT (both outside Cove editors). This is ridiculous, and I am going to clearly insist on <2 weeks editing time in all my future bounties (unless we are dealing with some 100+ pages monstrosity).

You told me to take my time, it's probably for the best that you set a time limit though in future if speed is a priority. I've been under the impression from your PMs that "when it's done" would suffice just fine.

I try to not be too demanding, we are doing this as the proverbial labor of love, so a week here and there is not a big issue. But when a project takes over a month, particularly with editing often done by most editors within a matter of days, I can be a bit concerned.

So yes, from now on I will be officially asking all editors to adhere to a two week deadline, unless special circumstances (difficult editing job) make this not reasonable.

And as I wasn't clear on that before, no hard feelings to anyone - I've just decided to implement this now to speed things up in the future, and avoid some misunderstandings (like when editing bounties expire, and other interested editors inquire about if they are open, which was the case here).

PS. Considering that Dlag is making the DP and SS bounties pay x10 the amount of the usual job, yeah, I also would expect them to be done faster than usual, not the other way around...

That's fair. There's one thing to take into consideration though, and that some editors (like me) are also busy with other jobs. I am starting on SS11 now though.

But I was able to befriend ITOYOKO-sensei,
and direct animation and animation production.

Quick update:
I've definitely not forgotten about this but there's a delay at the moment and I'm in a holding pattern. HOPEFULLY I'll just suddenly be able to turn up maybe even as early as tomorrow with the last completed chapters done, but I'm not completely sure when it'll be done and no promises etc.

Also, I've not read over the credits translation but I'd like to make sure it is 100% before I go touching it.
