I've wanted to do an Artist CG set for a while, but it's hard to find something that's a) not too long and (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) actually has some text. This one looked really nice, so even though I don't know shit about Monster Rancher, I couldn't pass up the chance to translate it.

Perhaps you could consider [Kuraichi] Nihon no Mukashibanashi for a future project? Its one line of text at the bottom of about 20 images, but its cute and short and about Japanese mythology.

Hmm... I might actually do that one... it's cute and the editing looks easy. Almost too easy (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) there's no point in getting fancy when the text is all below the image.

Had trouble editing this one... first dozen pages were fine, and then boom, all sorts of text on top of the art and complicated patterns.

I was hoping to get one last upload out this year, but I got distracted playing DQV, and now I'm out of time. In any case, I'm going traveling for the winter holidays and won't have regular alone time with a computer for the next month, so don't expect any translations, either for myself or for others, during that time. I'll resume activity sometime in late January.

Sexy Japanese folktales FTW! Anyway, I'm active again, but to be honest I was getting overwhelmed with requests last year. I don't want to just cut people off and take no requests though. So, in an effort to reduce the amount of requests while still giving people a chance to get a translation, I am instituting some new rules. Read them carefully in the first post before making any requests.

I actually (kinda) like your new rule system. Plus that gives me about 88 editor discounts! XD

Really though, I think it'll be a bit before i make a request, i've got a mess of jobs on my hands atm. And nice to see you (officially) back.

I understand the reason for the rules, but the multiplication factor means I cannot ask for more than 3-4 or so translations before this becomes ridiculous (as intended, perhaps). Maybe I'll ask for something, but for the most part I am sticking to my own rules, like I always did: if you see something in my big list of bounties you want to do, feel free to take it.

I was hoping I could interest you in the new Ibitsu project, for which Shanko has already pre-cleaned the raws, or helping to finish Dragon Half, which has stalled at Volume 1 end, but the multiplier makes it hardly possible (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

@Shanko: yeah, with these rules I wanted to make it easier for editors to get translations as sort of an incentive for people to become active contributors to the scanlation process. Dunno if it will help boost the ranks of editors, but never hurts to try, right?
