I was hoping the group who translated the first three chapters would keep it up, if we helped with cleaning the terrible RAWs, but they [japanzai.com] said they are no longer interested. That's a shame, so I decided to start another project and see how far we can go with that. It's also going to be my first venture into non-h realm (not that the series is not perverted and ecchi like hell).

For the record, few links:

For Chapter 4, Super Shanko has already done a pretty good job cleaning the scans ([www.mediafire.com] here). We will see how quickly we can move through chapters; as editing of this is heavy duty, I'll be offering my double editing bounty (at least) for the project of that length.

Yes, i've painstakingly "cleaned" it to the best of my abilities while cursing the scanner. Truthfully, if anymore are messed like this, I won't be going an extra mile. Leveling and such is one thing but i'm not a miracle worker, and the scanner was apparently drunk and/or stupid.

It would be great is somebody could be bothered to scan this properly.

Anyway, we have the cleaned scans, although the series seems to have been purged in the recent non-h content massacre, and I'd still like to see at least one chapter translated by EHCOVE.

Where to release it, though... any ideas? I am not used to thinking in terms of outside our site...

Trick Get someone from an already established group to translate it, I edit it, they release it on their site and we all it a joint effort?

I tried in the past, but couldn't find a translator (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Perhaps we could ask LWB to release it through their website?

I wonder why it was banned from the galleries.

Cleaning those raws is quite easy. Although having to do both the translation and edition for every chapter would take me more time. I did try to clean three pages while practicing how to use GIMP.

I'm going to use the raws that you cleaned. I was just experimenting with GIMP as there is one bounty that I want to do in the future, which requires doing both editing and translating. Sure, if you have a link I would like to read it, in case I need to use it in the future. I'm not planning on doing too many editing jobs though. I wanted to release one short chapter completely on my own for a change (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (of course not of Ibitsu).

You are right, that image would look much better if it was possible to fix the right edge.

Well, I didn't know how to fix it. I looked at some other raw scans of other chapters. This appears to be a common problem. Usually there is nothing important written on the edges though.

I fooled around a bit with that image and got this:

Dodge and burn are pretty important for shitty scans like these.

Did you send me raws, rather than edited pages? I don't see any attempt in trying to fix the right side :/


The first file is a raw file that I got from my sources.
The second file is an image from your archive. To tell you the truth I don't don't see any difference between those images, maybe your image is a little bit darker.

Can you send me the cleaned sources? I want to compare them to those that I cleaned. I wanted to check what can and what cannot be done.

If think that it's better to use the version that was cleaned you. It is going to be much better than anything that I could have done (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The ones I sent you were edited by [i]me[/]. I mainly focused on smoothing out those burn marks and adjusting the levels alittle to remove the grey which made it so light I had to darken it some.

As for that link, it looks like they blurred the living hell out of it, and didn't bother with the gutter =P
