The thing is everyone buys crystals. Not everyone everyone but a lot of people everyone. I don't camp the market, but if I happen to see attribute crystals for sell (which isn't that often) I'll certainly grab them up. Sometimes even resistance if I feel like it.

Nah. I don't have any trainings/perks because I don't use real money to adopt slots for the sole purpose of having an advantage in HV, and as you're pretty fond of saying, I've 'only' joined for 11 months. Hard to get to the level of trainings/perks as people that have been here for years or have wads of cash they don't mind throwing around.

I don't see how I can be "pretty fond" of something I've mentioned one time.


I also haven't spent one penny that belonged to me, so that's no excuse, especially seeing how easy it is to get credits now. I "acquired" a gold star and had a couple of slots adopted for me years ago, but those are besides the point. My personal expenditure is zero.

One million credits around the time HV started was a fortune that took me weeks or months, even as a top earner that far back. Now you can earn that much in a few days, so join date isn't much of an excuse either. All of the inflation exploding changes have happen since you've been here anyway, and the training prices haven't changed since day one (except ability boost, twice.)

The point is you can obtain most things with decent speed, for free, if you don't become obsessed or fixated on things that don't provide benefits, like power leveling into oblivion, or spending every penny you have on crystals, or spending ridiculous amounts on things based on speculation (chainsaw parts way back, eggs, various other special trophies/artifacts/items, etc. Currently ponies.)

At any rate, I do have to agree with the majority of what you said. Obviously by maxing EXP I had to give up on some other aspects, and in this case it would be credits/hath. I think I've mentioned it once but at that time I didn't care about credits or anything, the only goal I had left was to be the highest level and I set my mind to it. And in the process I had to sacrifice credits and other monetary gains. Now that that's accomplished, I guess I can focus more on trainings and hath perks.

I had to admit, I did waste 88k by purchasing that Octavia figurine off the bazaar and despite it not being a ridiculous amount, it was still a sizable chunk of credits. I guess my only consolation is that the figurine was the original and the first one to be made and was also sold by T-brony.

Hmm. Seems you're right, but it's pretty pathetic you'd bother remembering something like that. I sure didn't. It definitely explains why you're obsessed with leveling though. w/e. I've always considered maxed trainings to be the true "end" since legacy was scrapped after I finished trainings on that. I'd like to see what Tenboro comes up with to piss me off after I finish HV trainings.

Now, i've had my fair share of enemies smacking me around, out of my hp between about 2000 and the 2431 it is now, i've been hit for 300, 400, 600, even 900 damage from critical hit specials lately. Even took one at 1090. that hurt, but it didn't seem outlandishly high, my heavy armor isn't exactly the -best- but it's decent for my level i should hope. Even mind raper doesn't seem to hit me too terrible when it does, between about 600-1000. I'd notice if it were higher.

But then...

I'm going through an arena, last round, mowing things with a mace like always, playing on normal because it's quicker and i get nailed for over 1600. I haven't even seen anything break 1100 on me yet, what the hell is this, it has to be magic my heavy armor has loads of physical defense... nope, it's crushing. Something smells fishy here.

If any of you who read this have this monster, what did you do, forgo everything else for only str or dex or something? This seemed like an extraordinarily high amount of damage, even with agitation, low hp, whatever else could be going on.

I had actually forgotten about it, it was only when you said it the second time that jolted my memory. Chances are nothing will happen since as we all know, he doesn't code for one person.

That's actually a pretty good point. I don't take trophies into account when calculating credit gain though since I don't turn them in everyday. Also, don't save your hath for an imaginary hypothetical hath perk that will never come, you should lend them to me. Not like Tenboro has time to implement anything now that The Ponies 2 is on.

To make it work faster, you need to do a few things.
So instead of explaining how to do them, I made the changes and then packed it for the lot of you.

This is a portable firefox.
That means that you can extract it where you want and it will not make any changes to your system.
You can copy it to your USB Stick and use it from there.
You can install addons and they get installed to the program's folder, not some random locations. Then you can copy it again to where ever.
But for speed, you need to use it from harddrive.

Chrome is the best for HV in my opinion. And since HV Stat is barely working now, it's not really worth to use most of its functions. I'm using only battle log highlight, self-buffs countdown and battle summary. Other things are I just don't need. Or they're just doesn't work anymore like goddamn turn divider. And since it's slowing the game down - it's better to disable it.

Besides, it's highly interesting when our dear mate cmal will update this bloody thing to make it work properly again... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
