I am the last person to ask about anything "expert" related. Retard related, mayhap (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). I am also quite poor; I would not count on me for the legendary weapon borrowing strategy if I were you : ).

My general approach to anything is: do not ask too many questions...If you really wish to avoid dealing with...nuisances...just reply using a Private Message next time.

sorry to butt in but it seemed to me you have a theory and asked a legitimate question. thats ok. thats what the thread is for. but then you said you don't want an answer to that question because you dont want spoilers and want to find the answer yourself. so why asking ?

You can reply in the proper thread while quoting the post you are replying to, then pm the user telling them where you replied. Occasional off-topic posts are whatever, but if it becomes a full on off topic conversation, then it's disrupting the purpose of the thread and posts may be moved or removed at moderator discretion.

Nuisance never worries me. I only worry about:
• People with forum moderation power, since they can smack me
• Me being a nuisance (without realizing it), so people with mod power can smack me
PMs are good, but they no longer utilize the collective wisdom of the forum. Different perspectives and experiences from different people have unique value and help cover the blind spots in individual thinking.
A mage build user isn’t going to answer a warrior build question as well as a warrior player.
That Ramaki person probably looks smart, I dunno man… I really do not know.

I asked if it's possible to turn off the Training bonus.
I want to know yes or no. I can accept why yes and why not too. Or any other ten thousand things related to my question, whether it’s possible to turn off the Training bonus.

Then, a person named Sirnotalot asked why I want to do that.
Then someone asked me why I want to do that.

why would you want to do that ?

Now, I am forced to answer him. This is NOT WHAT I INTENDED to do at all, but I decided to explain the reason why I asked my question.
I am giving this Sirnotalot person what he wanted, which is not what I wanted/asked/requested/desired.

My reasoning is based on findings and deduction, whether it is right or wrong.
But since this is an Ask The Expert thread, some people might mistakenly think I’m asking a question, when actually I’m not—I’m just answering this Sirnotalot person. So, someone might give their opinion, and I might get spoiled. That’s why I also asked at the bottom of my post for people not to spoil me.

TLDR version:
I am getting crucified because I didn't adopt Nino's single-player approach.
If I had only cared about what I wanted (merely asking my question), not what this Sirnotalot person wanted (answering his question), none of this nuisance would have happened.

The entire "question" situation is a bit weird. You asked a simple one. You then answered a follow-up question aimed in your general direction by sharing a theory of your own; merely displaying a desire to avoid anyone disproving it or confirming its veracity/viability. In and on itself, yes, it would belong in the theorycrafting thread, however, that is not what happened. 1) Maybe I worded my previous posts in a misleading way?
(I honestly couldn’t tell if it was misleading, since I was the one who wrote it.)
Two people said they found it contradictory, but I couldn’t see where the contradiction was at all.
It’s probably just a case of miscommunication, which I’m not too concerned about. Miscommunication happens online all the time.
2) I asked a seemingly unconventional, backwards-moving question.
It’s like in a marathon, I ask the runner next to me, “If I start walking backwards, will that count as breaking the rules?”
Some people might just say yes or no.
But many, when they hear such an odd question, will naturally trigger their Sirnotalot Syndrome (aka curiosity in layman’s terms), and respond by asking me why I’d even ask that in the first place.
3) Now I have to explain why I asked the question — and that counts as Theorycrafting under the board rules.
(This is the only part I find weird.)

Note my current player level is 407, so that is the scaled level that the soulbound rapier uses for my display, even though I am not the owner of that particular rapier. If other people click on the soulbound rapier link, their own level will be used and the displayed scaled stats will be different.

If it matters, I don't have any management or menu script installed, so I am using the default hover to display the base stats.

Are you sure it's not some weird bug on your side? I think it shows the same stats (all are 2899) for everyone else including me.

Basara at level 500 had helped to check in Ask the Experts. The soulbound Peerless Rapiers of Slaughter do show 2899 void damage, but if you hover to check the base stat, some of them still show 93.53 and some show 93.52, and when I looked at more Peerless Rapiers in Ask the Experts, there wasn't any pattern or explanation, whether soulfused or level 500. It's somehow inherent in each rapier.

Whether that difference of 0.01 base ADB means anything, is still not known. It could be a cosmetic display bug, or it could also be a real difference. The reason it could be a real difference is that your armors don't round their damages, so in reality that 2899 might not round either, and it could be like 2899 on the 93.52 rapiers, and 2899.31 on the 93.53 rapiers, for example.

Note to (mostly) self: changing password locks me out of a large portion of the HentaiVerse features : ). For 24 hours.

Not bad, almost a thousand. Probably will get to that number by the end of the season but impressive indeed.

Now that's one big climb in ranks for sure, don't remember the details but it feels like there are around 100+ people on 30, 40 and 50 each. Think the jump was bigger from 40 to 50 which is proof of the PFUDOR spike I guess.

Struggled quite a lot to level up, particularly to get to level 300 and had to make an emergency fire set to push some extra content. In the end, most of my level ups came from the tower anyways and finished the climb at level 315, so barely got to enjoy the good Imperil (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

I said it earlier but thanks to the MoogleMail help I was able to get here, not because isekai is this insurmountable challenge, and even for gear I certainly had options to force progress, like shrining, but because having to go out of my way to do so on top of the diminished drops on top of having to IW the weapon itself would certainly have made me quit earlier for sure. So thanks again.

Not completely sure but I think the afk time is included, could be done 3 to 4 hours, but kinda long still. Mainly because I played a knightly coward style asking all the monster to queue up and 1v1 me. :/ And I have not forged my weapon and STR that much. (5260 attack base damage when going into 99F)
