its been a while since i played hv. where do i check the updates?

My credits had dropped a lot fast, and when checking my log, the Hath transaction I had set days ago was done. I wondered what happened, since it was far from 3,610c/Hath lately.
Then I saw that:

I saw it happen before my eyes and it was rather unsettling I must say as it was the second time I could see the bottom in a few weeks (just 10 hath at 35k for the curious) and the only thing available was at 8-10k so I was ready to kiss goodbye to all the perks for a long long time. Thankfully the buyers didn't budge an inch and the sellers brought it back to under 4k in an act of kindness it feels like, but it surely drove home importance of getting some perks out of the way before it's too late to do so. I just managed to steal [hvlist.niblseed.com] Darth Vader and Vaevictis Asmadi names. Actually the other guy misspelled Vaevictis that's why.

Got up to 2000 Hath today.

Dunno what you got, but the innate arcana perks are just plain overpowered really and should always be first pick.
Coupon Clipper to me seems kinda weak comparing to most other hath perks.

Force of Nature is quite good actually. It costs the same as the 5th level of IA though I'm not sure which saves more mana on your supportive spells. You can have other people Coupon Clipper for you so I don't know if it's worth it since most people don't buy shop items often. I think it would be better to save for Dark Descent. Even though other people can do that for you too, it takes up a lot of time, plus if you work on soulfused equipment then having your own Dark Descent can eventually pay for itself.

Wow you are Lv 395 now. I was wondering how you could stay at Lv 394 for so long. I do all arenas, all RE and FSM everyday and it only takes me about 6 days to go from 394 to 395.

The main reason is that I don't play every day, and I took off an entire week because I messed up on my previous DwD attempt (quit accidentally) and had to wait another week for Friday to come back for another void day run. Then I became level 395 afterwards (didn't want to level up in the middle of the arena).

I also drain my stamina to Normal before playing these days to halve my experience rate. And I deliberately have low experience training, although I have 40/300 Adept Learner (would have kept it at zero but I learned it long ago). I have decent Assimilator training though.

Normally I don't play school girl arenas though because it takes too long. Occasionally, I try DwD on Fridays since it will be faster. I try to do all regular arenas, or just the first page, on most days. Doing the first page also keeps the experience down.

I am also skipping dawns and RE on most days to avoid the exp gain. For now though I am doing them again; it's better to skip those when you are really high level like 450+ in my opinion.

Sadly I have 200/300 Adept Learner and playing HV is 100% of my income. So I have to make a trade-off between playing a lot, getting somewhat decent amount of credits daily, but leveling up quickly and leveling up slowly and relying on some rare drop like LHOH to get the credits I need to upgrade my equipment.

BTW if you are level 450+, the equipment drops are of too high level to sell for a good price. Isn't it a better choice to try to quickly level up to 500?

Yandex is the russian search portal, equivalent to Google for slavic/cirillic users (or other "quirk guys" like me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) )

In the specific instance, SleepDealer was referring to Yandex image search and its capabilities (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Ugh, of course there's an event exactly when I have no time to play HV.

But maybe more trophies will mean more decent items in auctions.

The entire active playerbase is basically getting somewhere around 20 stocking stuffers over the duration of this event based on admin's numbers - so basically Christmas on steroids. Plus they're actually gonna get shrined since they're untradable. I think there should be a good auction next week, yeah.

That said, I expect a ton of people to shrine them on stupid shit, like 2H weapons and heavy armor (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
