I got 76 trophies from bosses. Is it worth trading them in for staffs and hope for something halfway decent, or should I just sell 'em all?

A boss trophy is only worth 200c, a staff is most of the time (unless it's crude or worse) atleast 200c.

Also, just noticed, my weaken cost is 17 but with CM it uses up 10MP consistently.
How the heck is it rounded? 8.5 = 10 @_O?

Wouldn't that mean it would cost LESS? Not more?
It should cost 8.5 = 9 (rounded up) MP.
If, as you say, we add Mana regen, it should be something like 9MP and every 4-5 turns - 8MP.
Now it's 10MP and every 4-5 turns 9MP

That explains the shifting cost. The increased "cost" is likely due to IA. That'd be my guess at least.

Can somebody confirm for me if Shadow Veil + Lvl 2 IA + 250 Support Prof = 0 actual IA upkeep?
According to the calc, it should be true, but I just wanted to know if its indeed a free cast or not.
If it is, I might blow some Hath on it right now.

I always thought the reduction applied straight to your total upkeep, meaning it could never be 0 even with level 4 IA.

On that note, how is upkeep calculated? I always wondered that. I imagine it has something to do with your action speed, since high burden increases upkeep, but I don't know for sure o_o

Mine's working.

Shadow Veil + Lvl1 IA + 0 Support Prof
=
Innate Upkeep = 4.20 MP / Turn
Actual Upkeep = 3.18 MP / Turn

I think Supportive Prof reduces the base cost directly.
And the calculator also takes into consideration your mana regen for the actual IA upkeep.

Oh, if you're factoring in mana regen as well, that's different.

Magic regen 34.08 = 1.136 per round

My SV upkeep with 277 Prof = 1.18 per round

My Shield upkeep = 1.09 per round

That's with only level 1 IA.

Hmm yeah, my goal was to use IA while not having negative mana regen. I shouldn't have called it "free cast" since it still eats at your mana, even though you're gaining more than you're losing.
