You can buy some good kevlar really cheap right now. Reforging is not worth it for 99.X% of all equipment. Save your money/materials.
After the last patches, I'm not even sure if there's any real use for Kevlar right now.

I've noticed good kevlar is cheaper since I last played HV. I've been using all kevlar armor since early on, so why change now?
Would something like an axe with a 25% bleed proc, and good druation be one of the few things worth it, to up the damage it does?

You might want to check 4EverLost's shop in the WTS section. He's selling various kinds of kevlar equipment for only 5k credits each before they end up in the Bazaar.

Axes are okay to me, but pale in comparison to clubs and rapiers. I go with an ethereal club of slaughter just to prevent my opponents from attacking me.

Bought most of a set from him. Still using a pair of oddball boots though. Level 42 with 7% phy mitigation. Would anybody be insterested in leveling these to 55 or so? Nowdays I look for axes that hit harder, but they tend to have good bleed stats anyhow, and bleed only comes into play now for ring of blood or Nintendo-IWBTH arenas. I usually dual weild with a dagger that gives a high hit chance boost. It's also low level, and looking to have it leved up to 55ish.

It doesn't really matter if it's an axe or boots or any other specific equip.

You have to consider its stats and characteristics. Never forge a non-ethereal weapon, and even then increase only a stat that's already high from the very start. Upgrades are a percentage of the base stat: the higher the base stat, the higher the raise given by each upgrade.

Let's say you have an Ethereal Axe with 25% proc and 32 base weapon damage, don't try and rise its damage. It's a waste of expensive bindings. Search for something better, if avaiable.

OTOH, this and this have nice damage on them, but you don't want to forge them either, since they're not ethereal in the first place, and at higher level an ethereal weapon is a must to melee.

Some pages ago, I made a claim that item shop do generates binding. This claim is based on a long time of real world observation, with no input or any reliable information from higher power whatsoever.

Of course, people ... well, 'disagree' with me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

However, note the date of the link to post I got as a proof that the authority denial of such thing actually took place is before the forge is implemented, which I believe is the time (or a few weeks after this) that the phenomenon of "1-3x of random binding kept spontaneously appeared in the shop" began...

If I lose the axe I'm bidding on, would you be willing to sell one of those? They both scale to 213, and I'm using an old prism axe that scales to 159.

But for arguments sake if I asked [you] to lend me some hath for a perk, what would be the interest you'd want? As for time, I guess I'd pay you back in 30 days tops (either by daily installments or everything at once).

I would lend to you for free, if I have the amount you need. Currently have 365.

And if that's not enough, I have 49 now which brings the total to 400+.

Got an exquisite from her yesterday and it had no PABs. Let's just say that I was mad about getting something that had no PABs at all, but it was leather armor.
