I see you started editing, but I thought Super Shanko wanted to do it. I don't think he'll mind your help much here, he's backlogged as it is, but you should probably discuss the details with him.

I had planned on starting SS12 after i squeezed out that OP doujin, on something of my own, which I had finished. As for Silent Saturn 12, I would actually like to edit this since its the last one.

Sorry, but basically I'm already done editing SS12.
Being basically is:
-text box / bubles already cleaned and all text in the script(file that proofed+fix from ace amuro) already inserted
-some redrawing and cloning for part with text & sfx that is need fix

And I don't know Super Shanko want to do this doujin(because it's opened at the bounty, no one accepted it yet)
As for part that I feel awkward is because I read it from reading 'manga' side, the script itself is fine. How abut I post my file(claim bounty) and Red_Piotrus check it.(no, i don't know japanese so i can't proofread it(at best i can only use rikaichan or atlas)).
After Red_Piotrus check it, you can tell me where and what to fix .

Delicate issue, I'd hate to penalize a good effort in editing, even if it's a bit ninja'd, but SS has been working on this for a long time, and he did annouce somewhere in the thread he'll do so. I hope you can work some form of a deal on this (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I think it should be accepted, if it's good. I know Super Shanko wanted to do it, but since it's already done:

1. I don't think the work should be wasted,
2. The bounty wasn't accepted by Super Shanko, and why should we expect everyone to read all forum topics, if the bounty status is what Bounties list is for?
3. It's not like Super Shanko can't do it, if he still wants to...

Of course, getting the editing done before getting in touch with us or accepting the bounty, like t15 did, isn't a good idea either. I think we should make sure the bounty is properly accepted before any work is done, for the future.

I'm not gonna do an edit for the same script nor am I gonna dwell on this. To be fair, my acceptance did expire (and wasn't aware or informed) so that happened. However, to t15, you should've at least confirmed with Red first if anyone was currently doing it on the off chance (I, or someone else) had it 50% completed or something. That's one of the reasons this thread was formed after all.

well. sorry about that(i only read page 25-27 at that time i accept this bounty).

That time i read about bounty part from gallery and found ss12 edit bounty job opened.
I read the description and found this thread(linked to page 25), after see the script and the raw.
I think 'well this job is simple enough, the raw is good(no yellow pages, raw is high quality). it's been long time since last time i do editing, so let's give it a try'.(at that time Red_Piotrus and Dlaglacz is OFFLINE)

1. After that I accepted the bounty and do cleaning job, some redrawing and cloning.
2. After all is done, I send PM to Red_Piotrus to inform about the status of the edit(the cleaning of text bubles, redrawing and restamping is somewhat completed; and there is some untranslated segment in flashback and some SFX in the bubles). This forum time: Nov 16 2012, 12:04
3. Then i do text insert job and finish it by Nov 16 2012, 16:01. And send PM again to Red_Piotrus informing the job is done(as by standart editing job: text from script is already inserted) and ask about some thing about font used, sfx, awkward words, untranslated portion and upload site used. I ALSO ASK if there is additional demand(and then i go to sleep)
4. At this point I think I can talk and get direction from Red_Piotrus about improvement to be done(about sfx, choice of words, etc)

YES, I ADMIT YOU CAN SAY I NINJA IT; BUT IT'S BECAUSE THE RAW IS SO GOOD AND THE JOB IS SO SIMPLE(TO THE POINT I CAN DO THIS JOB IN THE OFFICE AND FINISH IT IN 1 DAY)

But the next day i go to forum, get PM from Red_Piotrus and check this forum i feel like: LOL WTF RU SAYING.
The job can already considered done and I SHALL BECOME ASSISTANT EDITOR???

(by editing in my procedure is cleaning first and inserting text later. and i can't proofread because i can't read japanese, so text inserted is somewhat faithfully to the script(only minor edit))


Super Shanko, if you INSIST. HOW ABOUT SPLIT THE BOUNTY 50/50 BETWEEN YOU AND ME(I ADMIT, THAT I WORK FAST IN EDITING THIS JOB ONLY IN 1 DAY). -i know it's benefit you more if you use Super Shanko(as you have some history work with him and I took this job because some kind of urge at the moment), so this is perfectly fine by me if this job shared 50/50 with Super Shanko.
-I'm only have somewhat history with editing job(so i can't proofread it, usually final words is in the translator hands; someone competent in this field must proofread it (I'm not competent for that))
-For the sfx outside text bubbles, it's must included in the script if you want it edited and inside the images(and there is two way to aproach inserting sfx, like page 39 when sfx noted beside images or like page 41 when old sfx completely replaced; which one you choose?)

No, it's fine. I did a light proofread of this before, but i'll do a more thorough one tomorrow (it's late now) and see about any minor changes to the script. As for physical changes, I only suggest changing comic sans (because it sucks) to maybe Wild words or a similar font and this one story to [www.dafont.com] Cee's Hand to stay consistent with the previous releases. Anything like screams/moans is editors choice.

Since I did the proofread (or quality control I guess) that'll suit me fine, and i'll maybe make a credit page for this.

From what I catch? The big bos is Red_Piotrus, another bos is Dlaglacz and QC/Proofreader is Super Shanko.
I send PM to each of you contain link to my edited work(font changed to wild words; i hope i don't miss anything, i will check it again later).
If there are something that need to be fix/done/add/etc tell me, I will try to finish it.
The link i send only contain edited work; no original files. And there is no fix done to the things i mention before.

Maybe now someone can suggest replacement/improvement words. Please note the words is to be inserted in the images and read as 'manga' format. I 'feel' script translation in this case more suitable read as 'novel' format and can have some change for improvement.

side note:
-if possible i don't want to make sugestion because I'm already contaminated with years of reading experience with atlas and it can ruin the accuracy of translation(as reading with atlas is more like intepreting and get general situation/story rather than translating and it's usually produce 'drunken engrish'). As for why I feel these words need to be change is because someone I know(not contaminated with atlas) said it's weird.(I myself can accept those script translation because years of reading 'drunken engrish' and get the general situation/story)
-I made some change in text placement for more easy reading, but maybe I can get some input for these things before I send it to Red_Piotrus, Super Shanko and Dlaglacz
