* 10 translation bounty accepted by firejiki on July 7
* 11 translation bounty completed by xenexegesis. Script is here. No proofreading has been done yet, and I am not posting editing bounty till 9 is done, and 11 is proofread. If anybody wonders why 11 was translated before 10 - translator slotted for 10 (piotr012, IIRC) dropped out.
* 12 translation bounty accepted by piotr012, from what he said elsewhere he is no longer working on it, but his comment is still there, potentially scaring other translators... sigh

That's great, but as long as we don't have previous volume translated, there may be something the translator and proofreader should have known to translate this volume correctly. It seems that firejiki and piotr012 are gone for good (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . xexegenesis who accepted the bounty for Vol 12 said nothing here for a month. Denji2X who accepted both said nothing either. Would it be possible to cancel these two translation bounties, and put up new ones somehow? Or have some king of confirmation from people who accepted them that they're still working on it?

Cancel why? People who want to work on them should post here and PM me (if anyone would just PM me I'd update this thread with more info). Denji2X looks like a troll as he has done neither.

So, we just need a new translator. Perhaps I should contact translators of past volumes see if anyone would like to come back.

That'd probably be helpful. At least for the missing 10 so I can get 11 started.

I think he meant "main" site. That is, he's one of those people for whom site stopped working, and he can't figure out where the problem lies. Being unable to see Galleries, he has no use for GP, Hath, or Credits.

Doubled the rewards on 10 and 12 translation.

Still no progress on either of these huh? Those bounties are huge, more than the doujins are actually worth I think. I hope this attracts someone's attention at least. At this rate, the new Sailor Moon anime will be out before these two get translated.

I don't like to leave things unfinished, and it's possible I might stop showing around here in a year or two, and the bounty money would then just lie useless and meaningless like a number it is.

Besacuse, as there are so many things I can do in free time, I'm mostly coming here out of habit nowadays, and habits change.

I just got a PM about a new translator for vol 12. Which raises a question: how long are we going to wait for firejiki's script for 10? Should we ask the potential vol 12 translator to work on 10 instead? I am tempted to let him work on 12, and if firejiki script is still not here, then consider him not obtainable.

Let the new guy do 10. Like Dlaglacz said, there could be something from it that would have to reworded for the other two, which is why I didn't edit 11 yet.

I have just accepted the translation bounty of SS12
I think my translation need some proofread because my Eng is not good
If you accept my translation work with SS12, I'll cosider of other doujin translation like SS10.

Quick comments:
* pay attention to when to use was (singular subject) and were (plural subject), it's a common error of yours (you almost always use was when you should use were)
* use English spellchecker, unless I missed something lore wise, energe should be energy. Other typos: ture instead of true
* SailorSenshi - I think we would say Sailor Soldier?

Overall, I think this is no different then what cdragon used to give us, with some polishing we can work with that. Some sentence I couldn't fix in my quick pass is

the word "extent" is just messing things up so badly, with the poor grammar I am not sure I can properly fix that, try to translate it differently

12 is ok as well, I guess. But if, when it's done, firejiki's still isn't, we need another translator for 10.
