Have you tried using jergins lotion on your lips? There's one for really cracked skin that could help your lips

When I was a kid I watched the move Puppet Master with my aunt and the part where the dude gets his forehead drilled traumatized me for life. I was like 8 years old. To this day I still cannot sleep on my back. I always sleep on my side and I fall asleep very quickly. I only sleep for about 5-6 hours per day but when sleeping with someone else I for some reason sleep for 8-12 hours. No idea why.

I sleep usually on my left side.
on the rare occasion i will sleep on my back
i usually sleep with a fan or an air conditioner on.
i have to hold onto something when i sleep, example a pillow.

Quite the same as me, but don't you catch a cold when you sleep a fan on? Or is there just so damn hot? In Finland you just happen to freeze death if you keep windows or fans open during the night.

Really? My bedroom window is open all through the year, even in winter, except when it's too windy outside. It's always warm under the sheets. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I do that, too. I actually like my room to be as cold as an icebox.

It's comforting having a reason to get all bundled up, if you ask me.

I feel content, fulfilled, peaceful and sleepy under such circumstances.

I love letting the rain drench me through my window, too, strangely.

These little things bring a romantic mood about me.

I like my room really cold too, the only thing I don't like is when my feet feel cold, I have a really hard time sleeping then...and I agree, it is comforting to have to bundle up (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

In the summer, I used to let my air conditioner drop the temperature down to, like, 60 degrees.

I couldn't even type, it was so cold—my fingers were all froze'd up, 'n everything. It was awesome, still.

It gets a little too cold here to have the window open in the winter

It's kind of a half and half situation for me, i only have the window open during fall and in winter, but in winter i only have it open a little bit, it gets mighty cold in Canada during winter.

Then welcome to Finland. A country where you can enjoy cold as much as you like, especially on winter O_o I only wish I could go to a country with no snow at all every winter, I call it christmas vacation.

In South Carolina the most snow we ever had when I was a kid was 1 inch, and we got a snow day cause of it. Of course it was all melted by noon but it was really special for us to get a snow day

This was my first summer with an AC and I did that, too. At times I was sitting here shivering but it felt so nice. Of course, as soon as I opened my bedroom door to use the bathroom down the hall, I was hit with a wall of heat like I was in a jungle but I would lie on my bed in the cool air curling my toes with contentment. I really hate the summertime here.

We're approximately at the same latitude, DigDog. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)
