but in case of completely eliminating the galleries RP, I do not understand because it still allows the non-h, if the site is H, being very strict on the concept. then remove the category also WESTERN for here is solely and exclusively HENTAI, and if that means that only applies to the drawings made in asia, so I think that there are categories that are shaded.

I have always come to e-hentai for the amazing and rare doujin's. "Real porn" does not fit in the theme of the website at all. There's plenty of websites with real porn as it is! Let's keep this place unique for doujins.

Personally, I don't believe that at a site like "E-Hentai,org," that even Asian Real Porn should be "allowed," much less stuff from the West or anywhere else.
(Yes, I am aware that "hentai" actually means "perversion" or some such in Japanese and is effectively a catch-all term for adult entertainment of all sorts, but I contend that the vast majority of people who know of the term, think of drawn and animated, fictional works.)

And since I don't think that Alternative #2 will work in the real world (even as I appreciate the obvious effort that Tenboro put into crafting that choice), I will cast a vote for Alternative #1.


P.S. Second with Eutopia's view: IMO a "hentai" site shouldn't by 'definition' have non-h in it, either -if for no other reason in the whole wide world than that Minors would have a greatly-increased chance of stumbling in here while looking for the non-adult versions of the sexualized characters in this place.

As stated in the Title of the site this is... And I quote

This does not mean that these images ONLY have to do with (for lack of better terminology) Anime/Asian erotic pictures.

An IMAGE GALLERY is defined as such "•An image hosting service which allows individuals to upload images to an Internet website. The image host will then store the image onto its server, and show the individual different types of code to allow others to view that image."

By these two definitions this site allows any image to be uploaded and stored. This, in LAMENS definition, is a site which allows a vast majority of people to enjoy works from any aspect of imagery.

I vote to keep current MISC category based on above said grounds. And honestly to probably implement a system where the gelleries can be flagged but not Expunged just because a few people dont like them.

There is no point in arguing semantics, the owner makes the decisions on what the site is and what the text on the title is. It's not like he is going to go. "oh the title I wrote says image gallery system and the dictionary says i should include all images to fit the definition" That's not how things work.

Thousands of ten image misc real porn galleries and random mixed image sets is half of the reason the unfiltered front page is like sifting through a spam box.

Myself i vote Alternative 2.

If in some reason I need realporn pic, this would be first site look for it.

Alt 2 is where my vote falls. Primly for the fact that I'd like the option to vote against an expunge.

I vote for option 2. I really like the site how it is (it's become my adult one stop) with the exception of mixed galleries and such. Plus the expunge vote would be good for much more than mixed galleries.

Chiming in for Alternative 1.

I feel that the majority of e-hentai users don't come here looking for "real" porn. There are, no offense, much better resources for that. E-hentai is, however, unrivaled when it comes to traditional hentai, and I think it's better to avoid diluting that with unnecessary fluff. Just my 2 cents.

I'd rather see alternative 2 put into place. Quality control is always an issue, but it'd be a real waste to just toss everything out instead of spending time and effort to implement a good system.

I love my real porn, but if it gets rid of all the fat chick galleries that never seem to get expunged, dooo it.

I like Alt 2 but I think the upload limit should be a set number, paying for additional upload slots seems like a really bad idea because the only people who might care enough to want to pay that fee might be the operators of some porn site sneaking free advertisement into the gallery.

Either that or just take all real life porn out of the gallery and make an entire new gallery system just for real porn.
