I vote for Alternative 2.

Alternative two. There is some decent real porn on the site and it makes good reference material for decensoring.

I'm fine with either method but if alternative 2 is ever going to work, we'll need some very clear guidelines.

That's simply not true because ridiculous numbers of Misc galleries get posted under Image Set. It's simply impossible to avoid the hideous Misc garbage.

Then just tag them as misc. When misc tag reaches to 100%, they will be automatically reclassed to misc category.

But I think both options could use some tweaks.

I get real porn from other sites, mainly torrents. I don't even think of this as a real porn site, just a (the best) hentai site with a cool rpg game. But my personal preference shouldn't dictate the sites stance. So I read the thread and I think the arguments for option 1 are better.

People arguing for 2 seem to all be in favor of it because they use that function (some actually use it but how many just take advantage of it for GP?) and want to salvage something, the people saying "it won't work well" are probably right. But like I said I'm a bit biased on this issue.

Alt 2, seems fair enough. and every realporn post will be an amusing expunge war.

I hope more than anything all this drama goes away once and for all one way or another, geez you guys, it's just porn. Cain't we all just get along?

Alt2. There's a great deal of 'quality control' that can be automated, even.

There's really no excuse for any images under 1200px (1024px for sure) in at least one dimension, for example. Raise the minimum image count for realporn to 20 or more images, which will weed out the incessant posting of stuff scraped from free galleries.

IMO care should be taken to avoid particularly subjective rules about the content itself because 9/10 it comes down to taste (and frankly there are more than a few people here who have a particularly distorted view of what constitutes beauty), not to mention that all subjective rules seem to do is cause drama, extrapolation, and assumptions of intent.

I can't stress enough that hand in hand with this there seems to be a need for better feedback to posters when something of theirs gets reclassified, expunged or nuked as illicit to improve education.

Since I am just a random lurker, and I have not reviewed the other comments posted, for my pitiful 2 cents (and I am pretty sure one of those is a slug), I'd rather see option 2 instead of a full ban. I'm all for additional restrictions and controls to work on separating the crap. Perhaps even some minimal number of pictures for it to be posted? Seeing all of the reposted thumbnail galleries from the "free" preview sites is tiresome. Something to help enforce some level of quality (i.e. high resolution) and quantity (16 pics is almost always the freebie preview pics).

And yes, I could go somewhere else for real porn, but I'd rather lurk where I am and enjoy the occasional hot chick while waiting for the other stuff to load or download.

Option #1, and this coming from one of the bigest fans of realporn. It's almost all garbage now, put it out of it's misery.

It's hard for me to decide on one. Get rid of all of it, or inforce strict guidelines?

The simplest option is to get rid of all of it, but you lose afew great galleries.

Inforcing strict guidelines keeps the great galleries, but alot of bad stuff slips through.

As of now, there have only been two real porn galleries that have really blown me away. Gal1 and Gal2. I'd really like these to stay up, but I know there can be no exceptions.

When all is daid and done, Alternative 1 is the best course of action for this site. Real porn is much better in film than in photos anyway. Oh wait, can we keep the real porn .gif galleries? ...probably not.

Edit: OogerSmoogle, Alt 1 is all real porn gone. Also, hentai means pervert in Japan and drawn or animated porn in western countries.

Now I'm a bit confused here. I had assumed that alt 1 meant that real porn would no longer be allowed under the MISC category, only under real porn. If the Real Porn category would stay, but no more Real Porn under the MISC category than I'm all for Alt 1. I think that not allowing real in any categories other than Real Porn, Asian Porn, and Cosplay would fix most peoples problems, then they can just uncheck those and hey won't have to see them at all.

However, if Alt 1 actually means that all Real Porn would be gotten rid of, than I'm for Alt 2.

Also, as I've said before, Hentai doesn't mean only drawn porn. In this situation it means something like sexually perverse, it applies to real images as well as drawn pornography. So that isn't an argument. Also, since not everyone has super high speed, which I don't, I would prefer if there wasn't a huge file size or resolution requirement on images since it takes me forever to load anything as it is.

I vote for alternative 1.

I would prefer that the page was only for hentai.That makes this page different and special.

For real porn, there are another places.

Alt 1.

Because:
-This is a hentai site, not a real porn site.
-People upload all shit they can find as it is. There's really no need for real porn.

PS suggestion: make an additional gallery seperate from g.e-hentai.org that is reserved for softcore/aisan porn categories. I do enjoy some real porn/cosplay galleries, but i do agree that this is primarily a hentai site and should be treates as such.
