There's nothing wrong with variety. I might be in the minority here, but I kind of like that this is the only site I know of where I can look at HQ pics of my favorite girls, check out a doujin or two from my favorite artists, then go and read 33 volumes of Berserk.

I have nothing against variety either. When I want to look at real porn, there are a myriad of sites I can go to to look at. When I'm here, I want me some drawn stuff. I don't like having to muddle my way through irrelevant crap to find it. Think of this site like a trail mix filled with some things you like and some you don't. If you just dig through for the things you like, once you find it, the other stuff will bury where you were searching, making finding the next piece a little harder. However, if you pick out all the stuff you don't like, the stuff you like becomes easier to find.

In any case the decision is being made by Tenboro now, not really my original intention, but I can't complain.

There are advantages to this. If option 1 wins, I suspect he nukes it all immediately which saves us from having to do it. If option 2 wins and an objective standard is not implemented (basically, nothing but certain site's material can be posted), the fight over what deserves to stay will be so epic that he will get frustrated and nuke everything. As I said before, the more of a problem real porn becomes to Tenboro, the more likely it is that he nukes it.

Well, I'm backing out of this either way. There's way too much drama surrounding this whole thing.

I just think it's funny that people keep saying that real porn doesn't belong on a hentai site when hentai doesn't actually mean just drawn porn. It's normally used that way in the west but it actually means many things one of which is sexually perverted or something along those lines, it doesn't only apply to drawn porn.

Actually, hentai directly translates to pervert. Used to describe a person, not content. Westerners use it for "toon porn" because it's faster than saying "drawn or animated sexually explicit content".

Surprisingly (to some of you guys), I like a number of others in this thread do not particularly care which alternative happens. I was arguing here mostly for the sake of arguing (and to make points perhaps not thought of by everyone). I'm not sure if I'll even post anything in the "official" thread. It is not necessary, but please delete them anyway.

If you don't delete them, and they get expunged, they'll still be searchable with some extended settings. If you delete them, they won't be searchable. If you want to still provide them to people who know how to look for them, let them be expunged. It's no penalty if you uploaded them before the rules change.

Also, there's no limit on how many we can expunge, there is on deleting.
