I was going to complain about you taking away my pornoes, but your arguments are actually compelling. This is a hentai site and nobody says I can't get real porn elsewhere. I can see the slippery slope down into spam and garbage. Sites can get full of aids quickly as we have seen. Anyway, the site belongs to Tenboro, and indirectly to all the saints who have posted the lion's share of what's here. Plz leave the asian porn if you can, and then see if the disruptive stuff calms down a bit?

Absolutely we'll have guidelines, but we'll leave that for the vigilante thread.

All I think is needed at this point is:
Don't expunge asian porn, it's at least somewhat on theme, and since there's a category for it we'll leave it be.
Don't expunge misc that isn't real porn, the category still has a point.

If anyone thinks anything else should be included in rules feel free to discuss, but if it's non-asian real porn, I want to kill it, regardless of "quality" "hotness of model" etc.
I'd rather this not turn into something subjective or we'll end up getting none of it done because of arguments over what qualifies as quality, or hot, etc.

I do not object to an organized purge of non-Asian Real Porn.

However, if this starts off half-assed *cough*Anto*cough* without the new thread, and a realporn tag, and a 120 point Garbage vote behind it, it will fuck tings up, especially this Clean-Up tool. If three days from now, this database tool, that lists incomplete expunges, is suddenly flooded with hundreds (thousands?) of incomplete, failed RP purge petitions, I will either hand-erase everyone of the failed RP Purge petitions, to eliminate the clutter on the otherwise useful database tool, or simply ask Tenboro to delete all active, incomplete Garbage expunges so that the SOCOM Expunge list will be usable again. To be clear, this is not an objection to the purge, if it is organized and can kill galleries within 3 days (Dawns) time.

While blade suggested 100 Garbage points, I know from experience that Real Life can fuck things up, and if you go with just 100 points and one of you gets a 4 day flu, or somesuch, the whole thing breaks down until the "lost" man returns. This in turn both floods the SOCOM list and creates a massive backlog of votes to be done by the returning "lost" man, and if he declines to vote on a monstrous 1314 link list, then 4 days work will be wasted, and need to be re-done. Likewise, if Tens or blade are unable to come to e-hentai for more than a week, then failed ballots will start to expire and erase them selves. So, basically you guys should start with 120 Garbage power to be safe.

The second problem is actually getting the votes. At least half of the Big 7 voters (35+/16+) have declined for differing reasons.

While Shadow does object to a RP tag, it will be needed to keep the purge organized. I recommend the use of the magic tag styled realporn. I can use Tag Grouping to force any future real porn/real pron/realpron tags into the correct tag.

As for the concern about temp uploading bans, currently anyone who gets 10+ non-Replacement expunges in a short period of time gets hit with it. It should be easy enough to add Garbage expunges to the Replacement exemption, to prevent dozens (hundreds?) of victims of the purge from getting temp bans.

Your Garbage vote is half that, with n.5 rounding up. In your case, your full vote is 9, Garbage is 5 (4.5 rounded up).

Which reminds me that I'm still a fan of the "imageset posted as misc" "misc posted as imageset" expunge. The proper tagging acts more quickly, but it's nice to give a smack to repeat offenders.

Tenboro is strongly opposed to this option.

Lastly, blade, you need to get the guidelines finalized in this thread, as tweaking it in the new thread will be too disruptive, and it is better to have to have the guidelines in the very First Post. Also, please add Western non-nude to the purge guidelines, and expressly exempt the other categories (Asian Porn, Cosplay) in the guidelines.

While, I do have my doubts that you will get the needed votes and a dedicated crew for the long term task of purging both the past and the future, I will not miss Real Porn. Howe3ver, beyond some technical advice, I'll not be participating in the purge. I already have a lot to take care of, and tomorrow, more will be added. <-- That's a hint that a surprise is coming, likely sometime today.

Also, with the intent to get 100 power I was hoping for more people to join with us, there's a lot of people in the other vigilante threads that probably haven't even seen this and of course those looking for toplist-ness.

As for making that tool continue it's usefulness, would it be difficult to just exclude misc from it? That may be a solution to the potential spam there and allowing us the full time to get rid of them.
