Never really understood the whole censorship argument against china when europeons get thrown in prison for wrong think & N.Americans get shunned, censored & banned for questioning things like the memecaust.
Not saying china is better, god knows some chinese users on this site are giant cunts, but spamming tinaman(whatever is called idc) square, winnie pooh & bs like that is just silly.
The difference is that like the majority of chinese people don't know about the organ harvesting allegations or even what happened with the 7000 wounded and 250 killed at the Tiananmen square protests, whereas we can actively and openly discuss the Tuskegee Syphilis Study. Go on VRChat, find a chinese person, and then ask them what happened at the Tiananmen square. 40% chance they know there was a protest but know nothing about it, 40% chance they dont even know what you are talking about
fffucking OBVIOUSLY everyone's government is shit, But the main difference is that you can at least question if 9/11 was an inside job without going to jail. You have a good point with the holocaust, but the CCP is covering up their own actions and they just do it more often

We say that its bad to deny the 4-6m Jews that were killed by Nazis (and Soviets) but we still suppress the 100m high score set by the commies that makes the Nazis look like noobs. The champagne socialists in the west use the Nazis as a smokescreen to hide the drama that occurred for the next forty years after that.
My issue with China is how we sell our high quality food to them and then import the low quality food that even mainlanders say it is not safe to eat. We need to fix the packaging laws in my country, they got changed to hide country of origin because people are not stupid.

It actually doesn't take much, if you can actually elect politicians with chain saws to slash through all the mutli-layered bullshit. Nuke all the WEF, UN, USAID, NGO, DEI, BRI and Confucius Institute BS.
Slash and burn, so that society can grow properly.
Edit: WTF why did the Bank of England give our good gold bars to China... we don't even know if we have the legit gold stocked in the UK now.

China's rise at the end of the 20th and start of the 21st century proved that you can make money while keeping a tight leash on your citizenry. Back in the 1900s there was a genuine belief in the west that it is our intellectual freedom that drives the economy and makes the Western democracies such an unrivaled powerhouse in the world financial market.

Yeah but they went hard on the Japanese model. Their GDP to debt is now worse than Japan before its lost decade and several of their powerhouse sectors have stalled. The demographic dividend was also depleted before domestic demand became stronger. Most projected growth models are based on assumptions that they had 100-300m more younger people. If they had free speech, someone could have spoken up about ending the one child policy in time and also about how local government population statistics were not reliable.
If popularist governments like Trump win around the world and stop buying EVs and solar panels, the Chinese economy will be in deep poop as they have gambled the house on several key industries.
If the DEI USAID NGOs are cleared out of the game devs, then the West can start producing games again too.
