Loli is not my thing. But looking at cartoonish illustrations is a relatively harmless way to indulge for people that have such an inclination.
Additionally, there is a difference between attraction to illustrations and attraction to flesh and blood people.

Back on topic: I'm really not sure that taiwan officially dropping the "ROC" name will meaningfully change anything in the relationship between PRC and them. That's one of the major talking points in their upcoming election.
While it would be interesting for them to reunify, I think everyone knows that's not happening (not without a fight). So grandstanding about which one is "the real china" is something that everyone knows deep down is pointless. It's just one that has a lot of history behind it so they keep it going, since it gets a reaction from people. It's an issue now because it is fashionable to make it one and it can rile up nationalism, rather than because it means anything in 2024.
I think Taiwanese people for the most part understand this. But it's a good way to annoy nationalists from the PRC.

The all star team Beijing labs - Wuhan Institution of Virology and PLA labs have just used the same techniques they used to make Covid19 to make a highly infectious airborne bio-weapon version of SARS-CoV2 with a projected 100% fatality rate within 8 days. No symptoms days 1-3, highly infectious days 3-6, dead 7-8. Their paper even talks about the OG Wuhan team developing five different new bio-engineered strains but this is the best one as its 100% lethal. They are working on reducing the mutation rate of the virus, so their vaccines will work... otherwise blow back will wipe out China too. They are also working on the vaccine, so they can genocide the rest of humanity with it. Are we going to have to get monthly mRNA boosters to prevent brain death if they leak this one like they have a load of times for every other virus they work on?
Unlike original Covid19, this one kills the brain after being more contagious than delta.
Is dropping hydrogen bombs on China an option at this stage? The virus which could wipe-out humanity, is being done in a BSL-2 lab, which is wildly insufficient for containment and correlated to the Covid-19 leak.
Nukes are safer to use than this bioweapon.
