I think the scaling calculator is not correct for EDBs.

Maybe I'm thick -- I've never figured out how to use this. I keep getting "ERROR - Invalid Level Value"

Click on 'switch entry mode.' Than you will be able to manually enter any value you want. Also make sure to put in the 'Level' of the gear at the top of the entry.

in the middle small box, enter your level in the 'Scale to level' box. Then click 'calculate'

The right box should tell you what the stats are at your level. I think everything works, save for EDB.

Ooh. Right, that works (except for EDB).

But it sure would be nice if it could parse the equipment data.

It seems to give wrong values for Parry Chance too, giving way too high values.

It's a nice help anyway, I use it to find out if equipment is worth soulfusing to get better bonuses.

I have [my.mixtape.moe] rewritten parseText() in the script to have regexp patterns that works with the current version of HV.
It still prints the result in the old version of HV equipment description though, so the only better thing is the working [my.mixtape.moe] easy-copy-and-paste feature.
The scaling algorithm is untouched too, so it will be inaccurate if the scaling was updated after the last update from grumpymal.

HV Scaling Calc.

I just tried your Calculator. With an older (Pre .82) Ethereal Rapier of the Battlecaster, there was no damage shown. If I changed the original damage type from void to piercing, it then did the damage calculation.

The regex pattern didn't have Void, and thus the weapon damage value wasn't found.

Neat. Nice tool.

Though I think it is scaling some values that don’t (or at least no longer) scale.

Burden
Interference
Crushing Mitigation
Slashing Mitigation
Piercing Mitigation
Elemental Mitigations

I think these are all currently static (since .73).

An interesting issue is proc duration on 1 handed weapons. The wiki indicates that they don’t scale.
But for me, post .82’s level 320 or above, show a duration of 7 (excluding clubs of coarse) while level 319 and lower show 6.
So it seems there is some scaling going on.

On to Staffs. Tested an Ethereal Redwood. Still no Damage on that (works if changed to Crushing).
Also scaled Fire, Cold, and Electrical; but not Wind… Until I removed a carriage return from the pasted data.
Then it worked. So this could just be an issue on my end (OS X, Safari).
