Ah, I got it.

In my case, I did something similar but interspersed. Whenever Morale was below 50% I used crystals to fill the bar, and the next time I used Happy Pills. When the amount of crystals required became very large (also considering the total amount of monsters, which increased every month), I used only Happy Pills while gathering credits to buy Crystal Packs.

Currently I use only Happy Pills because all my monsters are above PL 1000, and the use of crystals is no longer feasible.

In your case, you can give crystals first to the point that you only need 1 Happy Pill, so you use this Happy Pill, and then complete again with crystals.

the best changes were both the market and the fact that energy drinks were no longer obtainable through the original way which drives prices up. and i am getting 1 a day. so that is like a boost in credits everyday. great for me.

Well, the "Pill anyone" button change is probably for the best ... to me, te button was useless before, and it is useless also now.

Reason is, I always go through each monster, selectively using Pills or Xtals depending on a number of factors.
Probably I'm a bit of a dork for micro-management (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Also Power Tank, Karma Shield, et cetera. That is different because those trainings were completely removed, so 10b could just run one batch script to refund everyone who had a level in them. The interface doesn't support automatically refunding only the people who ask for it, and it has never been done manually for only the people who requested it.

new hath perks:

- stamina 1 : 1000 hath : reduces stamina usage by 1%
- stamina 2 : 2000 hath : reduces stamina usage by 2%
- stamina 3 : 4000 hath : reduces stamina usage by 4%
- stamina 4 : 8000 hath : reduces stamina usage by 8%
- stamina 5 : 16000 hath : reduces stamina usage by 16%

- Everyone now has five autocast slots on Persistent. The perk "Innate Arcana" now only gives an upkeep discount on the spells in these slots, it no longer dictates now many slots you have.

Those with lots of hath can sell at 2x the rate, or try and play with the market it they so desire. Those with low hath were going to "suffer" anyway, so at least if you had any hath remaining you may spend it now.

Innate Arcana slots are now unlock by default free for all (like it already was in Isekai). The corrisponding Perk now only gives the percentage reduction in upkeeping. (Which is pretty useless, at least until Mana Droughts are so cheap.

Just look in your Character->Settings page, all the five AutoSlots should be available.

Now waiting for the "auto-consume" slots for health draught, etc! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
Though implementation might be tricky to satisfy all people and might be better done in custom user scripts...

Something similar to auto-sell/-salvage to specify activation condition (and below):
- always (including random encounter)
- grind fest
- item world
- arena
- ring of blood

Or maybe better inside in-battle items menu via two checkboxes/toggles next to each item "currently active (in this battle)" and "always start activated".

I thought of it as a way to (temporarily) activate/deactivate it inside battle. On the other hand I don't know how often you would need such kind of fine tuning...
I would be fine with "always start activated" option inside settings menu and still an inside battle option "currently active" to override it.

I will continue my turtle's pace towards Level 500.

In the meantime, given all the other wonderful upgrades I have seen in HV, here are 2 items I would like to see added:

1) The origins of obsolete items in the Marketplace could be added as part of a description or similar. Will certainly help future players remember important phases.

2) I would like to see stats dumps from the HV database, in areas of historical interest. Who fought the most battles? What monsters were most successful? What players gained the most levels in February 2021? Who has purchased the most lottery tickets? Or similar.

Anything you or I or Tenboro might think of, I'd be interested in. Not for strategic purposes, just for entertainment.
