Request BPM evaluation and song length validation. Tempo of song varies slightly and time signature seems to switch between 4/4 and 3/4 time. I get 153 BPM / 306 BPM (if double time accepted) for some parts and 72 BPM / 217 BPM and 75 BPM / 225 BPM for other parts.

It does sound like 187bpm in 3/4 but I'll go with 62.5 4/4. What I go with the the feel rather than the technical for this round. If it sounds slow, no fucking way I'm putting a big number.
The 2nd song is too episodic with tempo all over the place, I recommend choosing another song. Note that I need to be able to get a primary tempo from the song. This works better as 2 tracks combined together rather than 1 track simply because track 2 is too different.

Reminds me of a legendary song but I won't post here because it satisfies round 3 requirement. Anyone that manages to guess what song I'm thinking of will get 420k credits and 69 artifacts instantly.

This one. Heard it during the anniversary live and I cried.

While searching for the song above, I found this. Literally a Key song in S;G 0. Also valid for round 3. The first time I heard it, I laughed myself to death because I immediately knew who composed the song. It just feels out of place.

Soflan = easy disqualification. If something takes me more than 2 listens to determine the tempo, that's a fast ticket out. I out grew nanahira's voice so I kinda no longer have any of her music in my library. Camellia alone I can find a couple songs with quite stable tempo and longer than 7 minutes. None as fast as image material though. I guess the 281bpm original osu song is likely the highest bpm winner already. Though it's not something I personally want from this event.

End of YoRHA is a bit over 5 minutes.

Quick tip for both: going for BGM is really risky since BGM is usually made to be short and loopable. Very rarely can you find standalone BGM that goes over 5 minutes or 7 minutes. I'm still at work and can't check out all submissions, so I recommend checking it yourself first and make changes if necessary. No need to create new posts, can edit directly to your posts. I will re-read all posts for round Ex after deadline. Hint: I use VGMDB to look for albums and usually use the length there to check for the validity of an entry.

I don't have a lot of free time during the end of year - new year rush to look through all songs carefully so I will enforce the multiple submissions more strictly. Only the first song will be accepted per slow/fast category. New posts take priority over old posts. Extra submissions will be ignored. Just post new or edit, but be sure with your submission since I won't be checking multiple songs. Straightforward songs are simple, but a few songs here have multiple tempos, that means I have to load the shit into ableton live and do some magic stuff and that takes time. Not to say the songs themselves are long to begin with. So while I might be checking out extra songs if there are any after this event, I will ignore them completely before the event ends.
