And the crimes often don't get solved because Mayor Lightfoot makes it difficult for resources to be available because that would create racist statistics. The crimes exist and she refuses to balance the checkbook. It's bad enough that police usually need permission to chase a suspect (unless that suspect shoots at the officer). A huge reduction in car shases and foot chases stimulated crime despite improving crime statistics for blacks arrested. Mayor Lightfoot's method of improving black crime statistics is very cynical. It's too much like saying "New York no longer has any homeless (because home is wherever you are living) and thus the homeless statistic is improved!"

Mayor Lightfoot is planning to run for re-election despite not solving, but instead increasing the economic, education, and crime problems. Mayor Lightfoot should be proud that some of her Chicago street gangs are validated with Wikipedia entries.

Well, I bet that in the usual "reputation protection editing" style of wikipedia (as seen by results of reputation protection firms that celebrities and companies hire) the wording will eventually change from completely discredited. It may eventually be rewritten as "largely discredited". Then, after more months pass after that rewrite, the wording will change further to be "partially discredited" and editors will unable to change it back without being accused of edit-warring synonyms. Then more months from that it could slide into being "somewhat discredited".

Does Brandon's popularity actually matter at voting time? A potato could be the democrat president and people will vote for it simply because it is from the Democrat Party. A lot of people will vote strictly by party lines no matter who is president or how bad Constitutional freedoms are eroded or how the economy changes. When the economy gets tough, a lot more people are going to vote for more social welfare spending.
