Netflix nuked its entire animation division and all of its kids entertainment groups... because they only produced expensive woke crap that got no views.
The fired staff put out a media statement saying that netflix executives were evil for caring about profit and loss vs the creative freedom to produce shows that would never get approved by any other network.

I'm super fucked off that they canceled that Bone adaptation

Yeah, there were several good animation groups that wanted to adopt new guidelines but the other 3/4 of the staff wanted to organize a staff protest and most of the management had brain cancer so netflix used the nuclear option which took out the few great projects and a load of awful ones.
The new guideline was literally just; to get approved you needed to make a case the project would get enough views vs the cost.
That's all netflix board wanted but the twits said they would fight it to the death.
Was that movie even any good? They seem to be making a series of them.
Spotify is also freaking out and firing woke content creators that are not getting views/downloads . They cancelled Everybody loves Obama as it got lower than expected views because Michelle and Obama didn't want to be in every episode.

It's the only way to avoid either discrimination lawsuits or wrongful termination lawsuits. Since they hired a diversity workforce, chances are this workforce is very much into filing discrimination lawsuits.
Why do you guys keep discussing a rigged election?
If the Republicans mysteriously lose their general (primary is over) election 2024 presidential candidate, is a write-in candidate the only hope for a republican victory? Or will Pete "Responsibility Evader" Buttigieg become the new president?
Joe Biden got run over by a reindeer Campaigning near our house on Christmas Eve You can say there's no such thing as karma But as for me and Bubba, we believe
He'd been lagging in the polls And we asked him not to run But the press was still too fawning And he thought it sounded fun
When they found him Christmas morning At the sad and gruesome scene There were heel marks on his forehead And a headband by his spleen
Joe Biden got run over by a Chancellor... er... reindeer Campaigning close to our house in the snow You can say I would have beat Joe Biden But thankfully we'll never have to know

I'd be more worried about a pilot with a Pro-Brandon sticker.
Also watched a doco about how Brandon's state department is being catastrophically inept, they are only offering bad deals to countries so China is sweeping through with no effort, they don't even have to offer belt and road or bribes. Wtf is Brandon smoking, or is just his leadership senile to the max.
In the pacific, when countries even go to the US state department to seek support, or to counter China's influence, the state department just tells them to not bother them and go to one of the UN or multi lateral groups. Even the pro-America factions are getting wiped out because they are putting in zero support.
US State department: We can't help you, we can only offer for multinational corporations to rape your country, here is our terrible economic offer and we are cutting aid and funding to the organisations that were for our soft power.
They have lost the plot unless their goal is the destruction of the US. The US is losing influence everywhere on the planet and doing nothing to stop it. In fact they are accelerating it.
Stevens proceeded to question whether the Bible is age-appropriate, pointing to its "casual" references to murder, adultery, sexual immorality, and fornication. "Do we really want to teach our youth about drunken orgies?"
He also took issue with the many Biblical references to rape, bestiality, cannibalism and infanticide. "In the end, if Jimmy and Susie are curious about any of the above, they can do what everyone else does – get a room at the Motel Six and grab the Gideons," he wrote.
The 57-year-old Deerfield Beach man says his ire was stoked after Florida lawmakers decided this month to ban 54 math books that were claimed to have incorporated topics such as critical race theory. "I love the algebras," says Stevens, who studied applied mathematics in college. "And those Tally [Tallahassee] loons just banned a bunch of arithmetic books?"
Stevens sent the petitions as a way to point out the hypocrisy, he said. "If you want to teach morality and ethics, do you really want to turn to a book that wants you to dash babies against rocks?" he told NPR, pointing to Psalm 137:9. --snip-- Stevens said he is particularly interested in drawing attention to the hypocrisy. "I don't have the votes," he said. "My job is merely to turn hypocrisy on itself and let the bureaucrats eat eachother for lunch." --snip-- His group is tracking when the emailed petitions are opened. As of late Monday, the Pasco County School District had shared the email internally 35 times, he said — and Duval County reached out to the state capital for guidance. --snip-- It's not the first time Stevens has made waves for his activism. In 2015, he petitioned 11 South Florida municipalities to either drop the prayer that opens their city commission meetings, or let him lead a prayer in the name of Satan.
After Stevens' requests, some Florida cities ended up dropping their moment of prayer altogether. "The satanic stare withered them down," Stevens told the Sun Sentinel.
Yep, sounds pretty pwned to me
Also critical race theory is valid (it just just talks about how decisions made a century ago by racists can continue to impact people today due to pre-existing structural imbalances... nothing too controversial, I'd think) and definitely being used as a scapegoat right now by racists. For every jacquelope in the world there are people who are actually impacted and aren't stupid.
Stuff like school funding being based on local income tax bracket being disadvantageous for black kids because they tend to be poorer on average than the rest of the public, leaving them with little opportunity to escape from the poverty of their parents due to lack of education and scarcity of local trade jobs. The guy isn't even original, its been copy pasted and attempted multiple times. I thought it was funny when I was in high school. Very edgy. The fact that they have to justify their own texts by comparing to religious texts is quite funny though. Did they have Christian maths textbooks at any stage? Looks like they are mainly for homeschoolers as they weren't allowed in public schools.

Does it actually add anything to academia or society other than to divide?
The original seminal works are more fantasy than isekai, have you read this:
It reads a lot like religious text. That is the problem with CRT. It is a religion formed out of bad constructionist theories.
It started off as Marxism + Linguistics as its 'scientific' basis. That gave us gender studies and then radical feminism. Then African American academics created African American studies then CRT. The central thesis is that there is an oppressed and an oppressor and conflict that defines capitalist industrialist society.
At its core is conflict, division and the dream of revolution. It does not answer if the society that rises from the ashes will be any better. If you applied CRTs own assumptions, the society would be the same or worse, unable to escape from its own history.

Particularly in democrat super majority states who believe in CRT. Odd.

[criticalrace.org] CRT as described by the CRT organization website doesn't just talk about how decisions made long ago affect people today. It also demands people have proper behavior and states that " For the political identitarians, simply not being racist is not sufficient." CRT goes further and to be a proper anti-racism person, you are to try to blame everything on racism whether it be traffic lights, shoplifting cameras, or homeowners shooting home invaders.
QUOTE
Self-avowed anti-racists are not only expected to push for equity (i.e. the equality of outcome) in the broader society, but are also asked to find racism in daily life. Robin DiAngelo, author of White Fragility, writes, “The question is not ‘did racism take place?’ but rather, ‘how did racism manifest in this situation?”’ [criticalrace.org] Anti-racists must find these “implicit biases” in all aspects of life, ranging from discussions in the classroom to interactions between colleagues. All of these are fair game.
CRT is a "BLAME OTHERS" moral judgement approach for life. It doesn't add any new research to academia or society. Its effect is to divide people. Rather than eliminating racism by having it disappear, CRT seeks to keep racism alive and existing as a constant label. There's too much easy money to be made in the racism blame game as seen by BLM staff at all levels collecting funds and then using embezzlement or other fraud tactics to disburse the money. CRT is more of the same. The NAACP makes a lot of money conducting anti-racism as well as race relationship training courses. A typical approach (as was done in my city and other local suburb cities) is to find situations to file lawsuits involving at least one city employee and then offering to conduct fee-based training courses for city employees.
During the Fatherland Liberation War, the brave uncles of Korean People’s Army killed 265 American imperialist bastards in the first battle. In the second battle they killed 70 more bastards than they had in the first battle. How many bastards did they kill in the second battle? How many bastards did they kill all together?
