This is what J.K Rowling is mad about if anyone was wondering.
hormone therapy can and usually does obliterate one's libido, for the record.
Also Rowling has explicitly said she thinks at one point in her life she could have been lured into becoming a trans man herself, which in my opinion is a pretty revealing. Most people probably aren't that insecure in gender identity. To me she seems like someone who can't understand why anyone would choose to be a woman. Her lead protagonists are male. She chose a male pen-name for the non-harry potter book she wrote. She goes by "Jo" to friends.
QUOTE(JK Rowling)
If I’d been born 30 years later, I too might have tried to transition. The allure of escaping womanhood would have been huge. I struggled with severe OCD as a teenager. If I’d found community and sympathy online that I couldn’t find in my immediate environment, I believe I could have been persuaded to turn myself into the son my father had openly said he’d have preferred.
That's not something I think most people comfortable in their identity would say. (To say nothing about the daddy issues)

Therapy for women and transitioning teens is usually done terribly, only endocrinologists that treat men actually bother to manage hormone therapy correctly. Its like they don't give a shit at all for women and teens transitioning because you can just gaslight them, say its working and take their money.

Hey you, do you have OCD, General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Autism, Depression? Step right up and try the latest in medical technology, our wonder elixir / leeches / opium / lobotomy / synthetic hormones will treat everything with no side effects.
Medical gaslighting with the latest fad treatments is super effective against normal people let alone vulnerable populations.
It was like less than 100 years ago when in the US they were medically castrating and/or lobotomizing every autistic person for their own good.
Also the majority of teens are insecure about their gender identity, its called puberty. The old documentaries we had to watch in health studies were like 'probably only last a few years then you will be fine' vs now 'you will kill yourself if you don't castrate yourself"

that's not been my experience. but it certainly could be true some places. even planned parenthood does blood tests if you do it through them.

young people are quite critical of the medical establishment, it's one of several reasons why a lot of them don't even see a doctor at all, and obtain hormones through alternative channels without prescriptions. These people are of course not monitoring hormone levels and if anything are probably dosing too high rather than too low. and too high will destroy your libido. Some people even obtain the chemicals in bulk from china and make their own gels and whatnot with them. There are whole sites about people documenting that process. It's expensive but you can buy enough to have HRT for yourself and others for years that way. and the 'expensive' thing still costs less than a year's worth of prescribed HRT not even counting doctor's visits.
One side effect of seeing so many drug ads on tv (which the US has) for me at least was learning to hate pharma companies.
Also if you're claiming that all puberty is distressing, why would it be less distressing to do all the upkeep involved with doing the opposite sex's puberty instead of the one your body would do on its own? Hmm... I'd think you'd just want puberty blockers rather than estrogen (or testosterone in Rowling's case) if that were what's happening.

Even if they do blood tests, they are doing it wrong. Wrong hormone mix, wrong levels, wrong balance.
Planned Parenthood is offering castration services for kids now? They have been wanting to do that for decades but they could never find the right way to market it. The majority of Planned Parenthood offices are in African American and Latino neighbourhoods and the founder dreamed of castrating them as youths.

Yeah but that is like the reddit transmaxxers who are basing what they are doing on memes for guidance.

The problem is when you remove the gaslighting and affirmation, transitioning is not less distressing for the majoring of people. When they actually do post transition follow ups for longer than six months, mental health nose dives and is worse than before starting treatment.
The majority of females experience worse anxiety, depression etc, as this is a known side effect of puberty blockers and cross sex hormones. Females get rekt within 2-5 years.
Males tend to just realize they were gay all along but have major issues by mid 20s because of all the health issues and being castrated.

Puberty blockers wreck your body, destroy women's bodies and castrate males. Using it on teens is massively off label, its why users have to sign so many medical waivers because big pharma know the litany of health side effects it causes.
Why should we sacrifice the wellbeing, safety, and comfort of 99.9997% of the world populace to allow that small margin to perform their fetishes in public?
Everyone tuned out of the DNC, they are big mad lol. edit: Pelosi said DNC will win because they are cold blooded reptiles, is she drunk on tv again? Pelosi: "we are very discreet, reptilian, cold-blooded"
Yes, she's drunk, like Kameltoe. Acts like she's on a variety of pills, too.
Wants to put Biden on Mount Rushmore and punch Trump out. She's batshit crazy.
Another person who is either on drugs or needs to be on drugs is Jon Stewart. I don't like The Daily Show but think it's funny how they call themselves TDS now.
RFK Jr announced today that he suspended his presidential campaign and endorsed Trump, lmao.
Even better, he only suspended his campaign in the battleground states that Trump needs to win and is going to campaign with him. RFK is still campaigning in states where Harris is ahead, so he is positioning himself as the protest vote.
Dems are trying to claim RFK's speech was nonsense because he destroyed them.

I disagree. When you create a cultural atmosphere where queer people are hecking heroes and the most interesting attribute a person can have about them is their non-straight/non-cis sexuality and then double down by making teens measure their value by online follower counts which further incentivizes following the current cultural trends and are guided by whatever non-transparent algorithms (and absolutely not nefarious!), it's very easy for me to see how practically anyone at that age could have a moment of confusion where they'd believe some adult in a position of authority telling them they're actually a transfaggot. It's like a teacher telling you you're smart or cool.
Sure, I never wanted to become a girl, but I did buy a skateboard and baggy pants and whatever the media was pushing at that time. It's literally no different, except I didn't have to go through lifelong side effects of medical malpractice as a result.
