Also they had to admit that they staged the top secret documents pictures they released with top secret portfolio folders and stand in papers they brought to the scene in the case against Trump but they really found a couple or something so its a good thing.
They only just settled the ownership of Snopes, it was a battle that went for a decade in the courts. The new management wants their fact checking license with social media back.
The previous guy was using funds to pay for his lifestyle and was super woke to hang out with rich lefties and also probably so authorities didn't audit the finances.
So they are updating the fake fact checks both to repair reputation and to spite the previous scumbag owner.
Edit: Snopes lost a lot of the mega lucrative fact check partnership agreements because staff and the owner were upset that fact checks had to be legally sound and based on actual facts and not 'the current thing' and 'right side of history' and 'personal lived experience'.
Staff were shit talking facebook for the past six years because Facebook was paying them to reduce legal liability and compliance cost, whereas Snopes staff wanted to dunk on people and get kudos with their fine weather friends in silicon valley.

I was expecting CNN to come out and say Biden won the debate by a resounding margin.

Its hilarious that it was so bad that people struggled to do their regular shill job for Biden. Van Jones even said that he couldn't say what he was supposed to say and he had to admit it was bad.
An Australian anchor also said the quiet part loud that normally they search through the videos to get the clips that make Biden look good but they struggled to even find one clip where he made a coherent argument. The other anchor who is an American admitted that Joe Biden barely finished ten sentences properly, and he was counting.

American Anchor: That does not matter at all if Trump lied anymore, it was Biden's job to call that out and he could barely get his own points across. The format that prevented interruptions made Trump look more professional and presidential and the split screen made it look like Biden did not know where he was half the time.

Biden was worse than anyone expected. He was completely lost, frail and embarrassing. During the part in the beginning when he was stammering and froze up, Trump kept looking over at him like he might collapse. When Biden said "We beat Medicare" and Trump replied "He beat it to death" omg it was so funny. Sad but true. The CNN moderators were surprisingly fair. They kept interrupting rambling Joe when he was beginning to speak longer than his time limit. All in all, Biden told far more lies and was barely understandable. Trump could've annihilated him but he wisely took the route of saying what he needed to and then let Biden make an idiot of himself. Biden has advanced dementia. Anyone who's had a loved one suffering from it can tell and it's awful and dangerous making him remain in office. He will not live much longer.
One funny moment is when Biden said Trump had the morals of an alley cat. As a former alley cat, I had to laugh. I am now a respectable house cat and have zero desire to cat around. Too bad Trump didn't bring up Biden showering with his daughter or how he sniffs kids and the pope. To try and do damage control, Brandon did a rally today but just yelled angrily at the air. Afterward, he wandered across the stage and nurse Jill had to go get him and lead him away. Trump also held a rally, standing outdoors in 90 degree heat with his usual massive crowd of supporters.

Was the debate a CIA op to get rid of Biden as he was -2 in the polls behind Trump?
Setting it a 9pm is harsh when he is sunsetting, the format of showing both candidates on screen as was bad for Biden as it showed he could barely stay alive for his parts let alone listening and the format of preventing interruptions only helped Trump.
I guess we will find out if they change to a new candidate due to a medical emergency with Biden...
Gavin Newsom seems to be their pick, he's an establishment shill and will have the 'not Trump' and 'not Biden' vote. Sure he screwed California into the ground, but no mean tweets and no mumbles.

I think it was just so everybody in the continental U.S. could watch it live. If they held it at 6 PM Eastern, it would be 3 PM Pacific, and people would still be at work. Adults are expected to be able to be up past 9.
Before the debate, most people in the Trump camp thought it would be a trap for Trump. Nobody expected it to work out that well. It shows that Trump has more social acceptability than in 2020, that CNN didn't dare to be unfair, and it's also the Dems' comeuppance for constantly having the media cover up for them. They really believed that Biden would be okay.

CNN was surprisingly relatively fair, their strategy of cutting of Biden early to save him backfired as it just highlighted he couldn't answer. Repeatedly asking Trump to answer questions backfired as he got more opportunity to respond to Biden and then time to respond to them.
Trump had a very strong start with answers better than in past debates, but towards the last quarter started to random rant a bit.
Biden was completely lost until the second half and not much better towards the end. Jill had to help him down the stairs off the stage
I believe that their less biased coverage may also be due to the fact that most people are fed up with the spin.
Any smart media person has to realize that if nobody is prepared to watch what you put out, that means no bonuses, no new programming, lay offs and eventually unemployment for them.
The media has been almost silent compared to 2016 and 2020, and so they fucking should be.
