I honestly like that because gender shouldn't fucking matter at all, and this hurts no one while also making less money for overpaid doctors to milk from people.

If they ever start letting people get hormones without an Rx, that'll be the more surprising thing to me. Not opposed to that, for the same reason I think people should be allowed to fuck themselves up with drugs if they want to.

As for the "misgendering" thing, intent should matter. Accidentally calling someone what you are guessing they identify as should be fine as long as when corrected you try to be better. If you're intentionally doing something with the intent to make someone who's mentally unwell feel worse about themselves, then you're a dick.

The problem is that you can't have gendered privileges or laws when gender is a meaningless construct.

Accidentally misgendering doesn't matter if the person being misgendered perceived it as an offense... Even if you did not do it intentionally it does not matter under the proposed schemes.

The most frequent I've ever worked with was someone that changed their pronouns about every 3-6 months.
bisexual > Lesbian > gender fluid > non-binary > asexual > self identifying trans male > demi-sexual female and mostly attracted to women.

There was one that changed weekly, I got along with them, but they didn't last long as they were being inappropriate with some female staff or something? I would classify them as aggressively lesbian but that is not what they self identified as.

If I was being cynical, it would depend on how much social media attention they get when they change their pronouns / gender.


I think the problem with identifying the proportion that change frequently is the controversial difference between actual trans and trans trenders. All the actual trans people I knew / know tended to be stable trans for a long time. Younger females (who now account for a major proportion of trans-identifying individuals) are documented to be more prone to changing every few months, like identity is some kind of fashion, political movement or social contagion.

There are heavy social media users that change super frequently and often have a constellation of disorders that are probably not diagnosed nor treated properly.

People who regularly change their pronouns/what they identify as are weird to me. But so far, they've been nice to me so I've been nice to them. This person I'm thinking of also regularly changed their name, so I never really kept track of it but just would say "you" when talking to them.

I think it's kind of stupid, but I'm not that person, so I don't know how they think. And that person did nothing to piss me off.

I'd reply that I never saw Pee-Wee's Playhouse, but that while I am aware of his fall from grace and the reasons for it, I still respect the guy from what I do know about him.

I do intend to watch at least Pee-Wee's Big Adventure some day. Maybe some of Playhouse. I'll get around to trying H.R. Pufnstuf, too.

Being in an adult movie theater and not being allowed to expose yourself is about as stupid as not letting strippers strip.

(I have no desire to do these things; it just seems very strange to my naïve mind that we make so many stupid rules. If you go to an adult movie, you probably are expecting to see nudity. It's just all so stupid.)

Pee-Wee's Playhouse wasn't that good. Big-Top Pee-Wee was a disappointment. Pee-Wee's Big Adventure is a classic. Pufnstuf doesn't really hold up. I watched Pufnstuf years ago and I've only gotten picker since then.
