Here’s a pretty well known quote about John Wayne that’s been floating in the intel/national security community for years. It’s pretty well considered “confirmed” and it’s been discussed on the Joe Rogan Show:
In the 1970s John Wayne would spend all his time hanging out at his Malibu beach house. John passed his time there dressed in custom made silk kimonos, basking under a hand-made flowered beach umbrella by the sea, sipping white zinfandel and eating handfuls of vicodin and powerful prescription diet pills.
He had a French "procurer" brought in from Belgium especially for the purpose of traveling to Mexico and returning with young Mexican men. John called them, "My beautiful Spanish boys." They called him "El jefe" and the procurer was known as "La Pierre" even though that was not his real name. The "Spanish boys" would prance and frolic in the waves while John would clap his hands and squeal with delight. Unnatural acts of California carnality were not outside of Johnny's wheelhouse either.
Sometimes USMC F-4 Phantoms would fly over Malibu en route to MCAS El Toro. John would run out on the beach screaming, "I hate you, sound of freedom!" All the while shaking his fist at the sky before collapsing, sobbing on the beach.
In those years John only left the Malibu house on election day to vote for Democrat Party candidates.
A frequent guest at the Malibu house was Jane Fonda. It was she who introduced John to the diet pills. She called him Johnny the Boy and liked to whip him playfully with a riding crop.
It wasn’t all drugs and debauchery for John in the '70s, sometimes he liked to take out his shotgun and enthusiastically shoot at passing motorists, angrily denouncing "the coloreds" who he suspected were driving the cars.
This is all true stuff. I heard it from an old man tending bar at the Newport Five Tavern in Tustin California who had seen it all first hand.
Sometimes USMC F-4 Phantoms would fly over Malibu en route to MCAS El Toro. John would run out on the beach screaming, "I hate you, sound of freedom!" All the while shaking his fist at the sky before collapsing, sobbing on the beach.
That cracked me up.
edit:
Biden got the DOJ to indict the whistleblower who brought evidence and allegations of Biden corruption.
So because he brought forward allegations of being involved with illegal activities with Joe Biden... they arrested him for the illegal activities... and now he can't testify against Biden...
Biden: Okay arrest my political rivals and all the whistleblowers.

It's a well established fact that he does cocaine.
Yeah Hunter does cocaine. He even made a documentary with the video and photos of when he did it with Obama's daughter.

It's clown world so it might've belonged to Dr Rockzo who is Hunter's dealer.
They are finally finishing Metalocalypse at least. Though we are heading into global meltdown at the same time. Freaky timing. Hopefully Dethklok can save us. ]
edit: Biden seems to be trying to cause WW3 rather than lose the next election.
There is at least a year left in Biden's presidency and he seems to be pulling out the stops even at risk of destroying American. - The weaponisation of the DOJ is insane, with up to 1m FISA warrants being deemed as illegal, mostly on political rivals, potential rivals, and randoms to chase after rivals.... The FBI internal audit only estimated 30 minor errors but the external audit found a quarter of the gigantic volume of warrants were probably illegal or in 'error'. - Charging the lead political rival with charges for the crimes that Biden has probably committed, with more evidence emerging daily. - Then his state department botching foreign relations in the pacific by ignoring many countries for years, also screwing relations in the middle east, and with EU, whilst trying to escalate to WW3 and pledging to committing war crimes (cluster munitions).
The prophecy by Bin Laden was that if Biden became president the US would fail due to his incompetency and corruption. The incompetency and corruption seem legit. Hopefully the US can hold out another year.

So Trump had his 3rd indictment and a 4th one is looming in Georgia.
Let me guess, Hunter fingered a whore so they have to cover it up in the news yet again. What an utter waste of taxpayers' money. The US is literally turning commie.
They're putting security around the courthouse in Atlanta, yet when some numbnut influencer had a game console giveaway in NYC there were massive riots and chaos that went uncontrolled.
Smells kinda insurrection-y. But it wasn't for patriotism, it was for a PlayStation.

They just found loads of evidence that Joe Biden was involved with Hunter Biden's business deals for pedaling influence.
Just they are now claiming it was the 'illusion of pedaling influence', like Joe Biden would just make obvious veiled threats and make allusions to promises.
You have to be pretty dumb to believe that the crack addict Hunter had anything to sell other than access and influence. There were several deals that were possible only because he was Joe Biden's son where DC regulators allowed it.
If any negotiation / extortion was not going well Joe Biden would turn up or talk on the phone and make veiled threats, but he was just tricking the other party into thinking he was corrupt. Totally.
They also claim that although Hunter Biden inappropriately distributed money to the Biden family, it did not go directly to Joe Biden... except they had a shared account where Hunter paid for Joe's expenses and also Hunter paid 50k a month for 'rent' after one of the deals.
We know a lot because Hunter himself was salty about giving half of his earnings to the Biden family (even though he would not earn any of it without his father's name). Then Hunter proceeded to screw over a lot of the business partners repeatedly especially when Joe Biden stopped being VP.
Cluster munitions are not inherently a war crime. Russia is not a signatory of the treaty agreeing not to use them. By the terms of the treaty, Ukraine is therefore not in violation when using them to defend against Russian invasion.
There are some risks of leaving unexploded ordnance, but that's nothing when you're in the middle of a full-scale war, an existential conflict for your country's survival. "The risks posed by unexploded ordnance are nothing compared to the risks posed by unexploded Russian soldiers."
The U.S. has about 3 million 155mm DPICM shells that we aren't planning to use, and we'd have to pay to dispose of. Giving them to Ukraine is basically free. Ukraine is short on 155, and one of the things the war has exposed is that our stockpiles of and production capacity for 155 aren't up to the needs of a real war. We produce less in a month than the Armed Forces of Ukraine use in a week. Most existing European NATO members have deliberately not been meeting their treaty obligations when it comes to defense spending, intending to free ride on US military spending. Germany has only 20k 155mm shells in their entire stockpile. At one point, Ukraine was firing that many in a week, and Russia was firing that many in a day.
Minimally trained recent recruits need many more shells to get the same job done. You can have highly trained soldiers execute a precise time-on-target attack using unitary shells, or you can have fresh recruits use cluster shells to get a similar effect. Either way, the enemy ends up dead. "Banning" cluster munitions and land mines is a way to virtue signal for countries rich enough to think they can win without them. It turns out, they may be wrong about that.

The conflict is too esoteric for me. Ukraine was using USD to buy Russian oil at a discount in order to pay to keep the elite soldiers in check. The USD was used to pay Wagner group and keep them in the conflict.
As soon as the deal was struck down when it became public Wagner group exited the conflict.
The prospects of Ukraine winning must have improved as the insane bond yield is dropping back to normal. There is still a huge amount of debt at 50%, which will be converted to tax free foreign direct investment and ownership of all the agricultural land and rare earth metals. The lithium is already factored in as being required for the green energy revolution. I looked it up and Ukraine already has plans to auction off the rights of the rare earth metals and Lithium. Much of which are in the areas that were occupied by Russia.
For the Ukrainian people its converting dodgy Russian tax free foreign ownership into dodgy EU/China/US tax free foreign ownership. Maybe the EU/US/China will be more efficient economically, but if its tax free, that will dramatically reduce the benefits.
If Ukraine doesn't get EU membership they will just be stuck with the worst debt package and lose half their territory anyways.
"Russia’s direct interest in Ukraine’s significant reserves of critical minerals could, thus, endanger the very concepts of energy transition and climate neutrality being pursued by the Western world."
We just bought a bunch of 40 year old submarines that'll be obsolete in a decade.
To be delivered in 20 years......
The Australian government making clever decisions. (colorized)
Yeah its kinda weird the new subs won't be till 2040. When they are needed 2025.
The real issue is the most recent refit of the Virginia class subs we are getting. Block IV would be excellent, but we will probably get the older block III, which will be more expensive to update and maintain in future.
The plan with the French was to get the new subs completed by 2050. They had already leaked the specs everywhere as well. Which strategically isn't that appealing.

Nah, it's in neutral. Supposedly.
Some chainsaws have features to be safer to start... the number of non-compliant chainsaws on the market have gone through the roof.
I've seen someone nearly cut their arm off because they developed bad habits with a good chainsaw and then picked up an el cheapo.
