I read it as the AI reading out the instruction like Biden does but if it could have just been including the instruction that was on the teleprompter.

I guess it depends if it has access to the video transcript, the audio or the official transcript. The auto-generate transcripts are usually a mess as they try to track what is actually said whereas the official transcripts are what was supposed to be said.

My point though was that many of the people making the journey are descendants of the people that europeans conquered here hundreds of years ago. And that if anyone's claim to the land should be considered valid, it isn't ours. Unless we think might makes right. Which I don't. Just feels ironic that we're telling the descendants of the people who were here before us (and before these artificial sand lines that we call national borders were drawn) that they aren't allowed to be here.

The decent argument kinda died a long time ago (like literally the 40/50s), the real argument is about regulated migration vs unregulated. Unregulated migration if it grows too much tends to destabilize the labor market, then the economy, and then society.
Skilled legal migrants that address labor shortages in the economy tend to have a net positive impact and are structurally required by most aging developed nations.
Illegal migrants suppress wage growth in primary industries and entry level roles. Too many overburdens the social welfare systems and infrastructure, especially if they are not paying tax.
