Given that youshi1's records was done with uncapped tower bonus(Floor 211) that probably nobody can ever repeat or take reference now, is it still necessary to keep this record?

Or rather keep it as an obsolete record, and put others' done with latest HV version, which seems more practical to us.

I agree - but please note that I can't motivate myself to keep this thread up-to-date. Maybe Nezu wants to keep it updated? Otherwise we could let one of the regular members maintain it (takes some shuffling of posts, but it's possible to create let's say the 2nd post owned by someone who would want to maintain a list in it)

Since ISK bonus will be accumulated seasonally, players should be stronger and the record should keep improving. Probably can motivate ppl to submit their record if add some ranking or so. Or even hold some seasonal ranking event for ISK if someone really care & have sponsor etc.

no need for a new thread, Nezu says he's gonna do an update this week. If you want to help out, you can use a post in this thread and we can copy it into the main post. And we can anyone (temporary) ownership of the ranking post to edit it (unless we think this is a bad idea).

Personally, I don't think we need PGC or IW. Just DWD, SPL and PFFEST is minimum that we need imho. But maybe I am mistaken?

Pretty bad idea actually, just some random idea came up with.

Just drafted a ranking list below. See if that's useful or not, correct me if anything wrong/missing.
Some notes:
- Added a note for players to PM thread owners to update the rank if necessary. Reduce workload for thread owners to check thread frequently.
- Each player can only have one & the best record on each rank list?
- Merged current toplist with #201-240 records, not sure if we really need to trace back those old & probably obsoleted records.
- Limited to Top3 for now, putting the rest in "Reserved Records Session". Top10 list sounds too large for me.
- Obsolete record is defined as technically impossible to achieve by current HV version(e.g. DD9 + tower bonus>10%). Record that probably hasn't exceed current player's capability(e.g. DD6 + tower bonus 10.2% etc.) is not considered as obsoleted. Or should we?
- Obsolete record lay between top3 but with no ranking number for cleaner layout, that only no. 1-3 are shown.
- Url replaced by post number, too clumsy for me to edit the list.
- I guess ppl still care IW, not sure for PGC, I just added them for now.

Top10 * 9 styles * 5 battles sounds too bulky to manage, and ppl would actually care about it? Eventually these toplist stats could end up more or less the same (endgame players with similar build & turns), we can still extend the list if necessary.

Grouping different players stats could be more comparable in record purpose e.g. <=550prof mage / low level player etc. Seems more practical for most players to join or refer, but personally I don't care much & can't think of good grouping approach now.

we need a staff melee ranking TBH

although it's not possible for a staff melee to survive in PFFEST, displaying its highest doable score is still somehow meaningful.
