Wow, that's a very impressive result!

Although 1H mage is slow so you used up too much Infusion of Frost and Scrolls. You should try reducing the usage of that, it is not cheap even for cold mages. And you should survive well without Scrolls.

If one has to use Scrolls as 1H-Mage in PF Fest, one should think about using Wakizashi of the Battlecaster and Buckler of the Barrier. In IW Buckler of the Battlecaster works always better than Buckler of the Barrier

And I got my old Data back when I still use Magnificent Radiant Phase forged 10. The Battle Time is long because I have Break during the Test.

With End-Game Gears (e.g. Legendary Phase with above 85% EDB and forged 50) and DD7 or above, Buckler of the Battlecaster is safe enough (8-10 Spirit Potion) and costs less (about 120 Mana Potion), which means it works actually better than Buckler of the Barrier at that Time, but still using Buckler of the Barrier makes you feel better while in PF Fest after Floor 600 because of less Cure, though it cost 80 more Mana Potion.

Grindfest lvl 425, cold day, waki of nimble + buckler of battlecaster, 4 phase + 1 cotton

11633 turns 1:55:40 (1.676 ts/) 17 horses

Very slightly slower in turns than my last effort, but comfortably survived with only 4 spirit elixirs and 1 health elixir. Somewhat slower in time due to hover imperil being new to me.

My nimble waki and battlecaster shield are quite good, so I think it might be a step down to go with battlecaster waki and barrier shield. However, I might try nimble waki with buckler of the barrier, since despite not having endurance, the block is much higher.

So I went for a completely different option: a force shield with aether and feather to reduce the effects of interference. It still sacrifices a bit of magic crit chance, but the overall turns were pretty similar. No hover imperil this time, but I had a flukey death in the 300s on the previous attempt, after which I raised my hp threshold to 0.4. My consolation prize was 6 PAs on that run.

A non-cold day this time. 4 phase 1 prof, force shield, level 427, aether and feather:

Can any 1H veterans check if my strategy is right?
1) Wakizashi for survival... I die with other weapons. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)
2) Use every single buff available to me at the start of the fight
3) Imperil whenever I have lots of mana to spare.
4) Use Vital Strike on stunned targets when I can but always save enough OC so I can
5) Use Merciful Blow on bleeding bosses below 25% HP unless the OC bar fills up then I
6) Use Shield Blow on the lowest HP target, unless everything is on cooldown then I
7) Use normal attack the monster with the lowest HP.

Gone back to elec, 4+1 shoes, 7.5%ish tower bonus, etc... 48,296 arcane score without infusions, 0.822 prof factor.

I'll probably update these with proper records at some point, but this is just a standard daily run (sort of - I wouldn't normally use scrolls or infusions for arena, or mana elixirs only at all). Day of the week doesn't really mean anything to elec.
