I think it'd be nice to have a stamina burn setting rather than having the bonus determined by if you're above/below a certain number.

People with less time to play can use a higher stamina burn setting for more exp while the lower stamina burn setting is for more rounds to lead to more drops.

Would also be convenient if there were settings to prevent starting arenas that you don't have the stamina to complete and a number of rounds display option so I don't have to do math and calculate how many rounds I have left.

Tenboro, would it be possible to adopt different options for stamina consumption per round in the settings? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

It would be something like:

0.02 stamina per round -> EXP x1.0
0.03 stamina per round -> EXP x1.5
0.04 stamina per round -> EXP x2.0
0.05 stamina per round -> EXP x2.5
0.06 stamina per round -> EXP x3.0

This consumption would be fixed, regardless of the initial stamina value, that is, it would be valid for the entire range (1 ~ 99). With this each player would decide whether they prefer to gain more experience or play more rounds per day. He would also have the option to vary this amount according to the amount of free time he has.

As you proposed, the only goal I see is to force people to play less. And if this also happens in Persistent, it will be a disaster. It would be the end of the "heavy grinders". Playing a single complete GrindFest would become uneconomical. To continue playing like today, players would have to increase (a lot) the consumption of Energy Drink, making the value of it increase. This would also lead to an increase in Crystal Pack and Item World Service prices.

Please Tenboro, leave this consumption choice to the players themselves.

Don't worry - the 0.04 / 0.06 consumption isn't coming to persistent. It's essentially 2x on isekai, with 2x the droprate to compensate, to combat last season's problem - with almost everyone complaining about how much extra they had to play. (The expanded 'great' range and the 1.5x stamina cost instead of 2x above 60 will be coming, though.)

It's mostly only a problem in early isekai because we're all enjoying the early game and rushing to strengthen up, ready to get into PFUDOR farming - which is why early bird's double stamina last time was rather nice, along with the starting exp boost. It would be nice to maybe have all players start with a limited stock of caffeinated candies to give them an energy boost at their convenience, or something like that.

That said - I also really like XMike's suggestion (and your specification of it) - and it's something I think I've suggested, in some capacity, in the past.

I have a question for the FAQ.

Stamina always displays as between 1-99 inclusive, as far as I'm aware. If exhausted is < 1, rather than <= 1, does that mean it's possible to have 0 stamina?

It actually can be 0 now, or just < 1. I started a 34round IW at 2 stamina 2 days ago and then it became 0 after I fleed out.

Can the stamina consumption and equip drop rates for IW be halved to make IW a bit more feasabile

- Added two new arenas:
-- Level 400 locked to PFUDUR +50% with a 2x T7 equipment clear bonus
-- Level 500 locked to PFUDOR +100% with a 3x T7 equipment clear bonus and a new title

- Arena round counts were rescaled and now cap at 100.

- A Dance With Dragons now forces PFUDOR difficulty, and the granted Dovahkiin title now has the same bonuses as Godslayer in addition to the skill. (You don't have to reobtain the skill.)

- Low-level arenas now become unavailable as you level up, mostly to prevent needing to show multiple pages of irrelevant challenges and making people feel the need to clear them every day. At level 500, Endgame (level 100) and up will still be available.

- Stamina is now considered "Great" above 60, and increases stamina drain by 50% rather than 100%.

- Stamina is now considered "Exhausted" if it drops below 1 (used to be 10). You cannot start a new battle if your stamina is below 2.

Are all of these things planned to be added to Persistent too?
The phrasing is a little weird throughout the post because it start with "things that carry over" then it goes about a couple of isekai only then it changes subject without specifying and few lines below it starts speaking about monster lab (persistent only).

Yes, all of that is coming to persistent (it's not in the isekai-only section).

I noticed something strange:
In the past 3 days, I think I had 0 Token of Blood drops (in persistent), but normally it's about 5 drops per day. I know it's random but this should be extremely unlikely...
Is it because of some changes to the system?

The files haven't been pushed to persistent, so nothing has changed there yet.

Yes. The doubt came from the fact he put isekai-only stuff in the middle.
So my doubt was about what came after the isekai-only part and before it was said again that from there below it would've been for persistent.

I did not notices that this was in the Persistent section, makes using ED to be constantly be in Great Stamina much more appealing.

I'm so glad this horror didn't make it to persistent.
I'm mainly playing the first 2~3 arenas, no time for others, so I would loose the entire Arena system if it got implemented on persistent.

Also, I doubt I will play Isekai from now on, I'm already too lazy to reconfigure the fonts, and there are plenty of configurations (that technically could have carried over, or could not) other than that to redo too, just a pain (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

I didn't notice this top 10 list until now. I knew sabregimp would be in there; I think he used the exact same build as me except he was a higher level like most players. It was embarassing but I always so far behind in level that I could not even borrow free legendary gears from anyone.

I thought sharmy's 1H mage did really well though, his clear times/rounds were basically half of mine, and his defenses were similar (although he was 40 levels above me). Maybe some of these other top 10 players were 1H mage as well? Since time might have ultimately been more important in practical terms than raw survival in the season 1 tower.

I think the new Exp system for isekai season 2 is wonderful. Early leveling needs to be more slow and controlled. It's already so fast to level up as is since HV 0.85 since you can start doing a few PFUDOR challenges right from the beginning (and even naked while you are near level 1 haha).

Also, I've read in previous pages that DwD forcing on PFUDOR is not exactly a welcome addition.
I would suggest at least letting newer players choose whether to get immediately locked with PFUDOR or not.
I'll explain.
As of now, you get the title by clearing IWBTH DwD.
So make it like this:
As long as you don't get the Dovahkiin title yet, the arena is available on difficulties from Nintendo below.
Once you first clear it on IWBTH and get the title, the arena will be locked on PFUDOR permanently from that moment onwards.

Or even better, make Dovahkiin and the new title the toggles for the arena mode.
If you play the DwD arena on Godslayer or below, the arena can be played on any difficulty.
If you play it on Dovahkiin, the arena can only be played on PFUDOR.
If you play it on the new lv 500 title, the arena can only be played on PFUDOR +25% (?)
Same for the two upper arenas. Can be played with a lower title, and give way lower clear rewards (say you only get T5 on second last one and T6 on last one with IWBTH), otherwise they lock to PFUDOR+ if played on Dovahkiin or above.

It's just that the upper 20 positions are occupied by people who played and invested to get to the position, so I expected them to fall very close to each other.
Youshi has cleared one time and half the number of floors of the person placed second, aka you.
That in HV scaling means 3-4x the difficulty if not more.
That's not just insane.
That's MONSTROUS

the first arena turned off at level 140, which is a bit early for me
i grind iw on nintendo, but i can clear first arenas on pfudor which is helpful
