OK, I gathered a few more numbers. (I knew that +34 Curative staff would come in handy for something.) It looks like the formula I posted earlier is rubbish... Having got a wider range of values, this is what it looks like:
Regen per tick = (1.75 + Curative / 20)% of base HP
Well, most of the numbers fit. There's a slight problem in that there are some values that come out one too high, but I'm hoping that's down to rounding somehow. Anyway, it would be nice if someone else can test it out. Base HP includes equipment and shrine bonuses btw.

CODE Version 3.0.7.92 - A typo or two in HVStat (Noted by Boggyb) - HVStat Regen Feature disabled until working properly - Power Regen now calculates based on max power, not current (Noted by Sayo Aisaka) That's why I turned of the Regen calc for now. It is not working properly. The equation giving to me by Tenboro simply is not adding up. I feel I'm getting a 'bonus' somewhere but I have yet to figure it out. Here is what Tenboro told me: QUOTE Okay.. the "Regen" effect has a heal-over-time coefficient of 3.0 (3.6 for Regen II). When the spell is cast, a multiplier is also calculated based on /200 your proficiency, which is stored with the effect. In the method that updates effect states, this is used to restore hot_coefficient * modifier * (base_health / 100) HP on each state update. Now I've talked to him that my Regen II is not matching the equation at all, but I haven't really gotten a response other than look for curative bonuses. I'm calculating the base as (yes, it includes the shrine stuff): CODE dblHPBase = 50 + intLevel * 5 + intSTR + intEND * 4 Now, this base is used for the health potions; it is possible Regen uses an entirely different base. As of right now, I have: Base HP: 1922 Curative: 122.69 Regen II Gives: 181 HP/turn

QUOTE(cmdct @ Apr 28 2010, 17:58) Now my question is: What I'm missing here? Regen/Cure shouldn't only depend on curative prof and magic rating? Curative prof is the same independent the fighting style I have, but how can 1HS set with less 9 points of magic rating regen gives me 1 more point of HP per round?
While they work out the numbers. In your case you are missing the difference of STR+END bonus from the equipment used.

So far my test have shown armor and aura's contribute to the baseHP for regen. HP Tanks do not.

EvKing may have figured out the basis of the EXP to level up curve. Level 200 = 10 million EXP. I think he was the first to post the requirement for 200 and realized what it added up to. This and other data points could be used to determine the needed EXP to reach the next tree or lifetime EXP earned. (Noting that members from before HV would have somewhat skewed lifetime exp totals. However, those who joined after the Beta went wide would have accurate LETs.)

Spectre was keeping tabs on the EXP requirements. Nice to know 200 has a set even value. But I think the equation is still rather difficult since I think the last one I saw was something along the lines of... CODE blahx^5 + blahx^4 + blahx^3, + blahx^2 + blahx + blah

He might have been the first to explicitly mention what it added up to, but it was hard to not notice. I'm pretty sure Tenboro accounted for this when he first did the beta. If he didn't, our ability to purchase stats would have been skewed. I'm also still keeping track of how much XP you need to raise a stat. I've got well over 200 data points now. The formula Excel spits out still looks like ass, though.

Sometimes I wish I had access to the php source code for HV. Would make all of this much easier. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

9,999,999 according to his post, and this is also the number that was previously posted. Not that it makes a huge difference, admittedly.

The Calculator stops calculating Shadow Veil's evasion once it hits 25 at 200. While it is accurate that one gets 25 at 200, that is not the cap. (I know why you thought it was).

You saying this was changed? QUOTE - Shadow Veil has been tweaked as follows: -- The base evade boost has been reduced from 10% to 5% -- The effect of proficiency has been increased. Every ten points of proficiency increases the bonus by 1%, for a 25% evade chance with 200 proficiency. -- There is now a readout on the status effect for how much your evade chance is increased.

QUOTE(Sonic @ May 23 2010, 01:01) You saying this was changed? The text you quoted doesn't say the growth stops at 200 though.

The text you quoted doesn't say the growth stops at 200 though. What D-Glaggle said. The growth continues past 200. I don't know why Tenboro didn't phrase it as giving 30% at 250...

Tens seems to have a new aura, the decastar. How he got it or what it does, I don't know, but I don't think it is like Aeiro's awful black birds in that Tens's group is not listed as being part of the Catgirl Camarilla.

I'm thinking that is it. Probing for info just to be sure. Might take a week or three. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
