Looks like it cancelled & recalled, which can only happen if it sent correctly, then wasn't paid for within 30 minutes.

I was absolutely sure that I did not recall or cancel after I made that purchase. The item it’s just did not reach my mm. I had also checked my read and sent mm list. There could be some issue there.

These RTS messages confirm that they were actually sent to you, so if there is a problem, it is on your end.

According to Market Data all 4 transactions have been completed.
But I received only 3 mails with the payments for the grenades, the voiceboxes and the tails.

The mail with the payment for the 32 Mithra's Flower sold at 21:39 UTC is still missing.
Currently, the Mithra's flowers are neither in my shop nor in my item inventory.

Can you help me getting the missing mail with payment for the 32 Mithra's Flowers?

That's the same problem as described many times in this thread - the payment isn't exactly missing because the order is 'in limbo'. It never got sent to rjgc. (This happens when ordering lots of things at once because of the shoddy code for the queue system - it's fixed in the upcoming update.)

I can either force that to be fixed now (which will probably cause the sale to be cancelled in 30 minutes), or wait for rjgc to next order something, when the system should automatically send it out along with his new orders. Since he's a regular trophy buyer I think it's better to wait, though it may be a few days... if that's a problem, let me know and I'll push it through now.

I've been getting 502/Bad Gateway errors to hvmarket.xyz for about the last hour. Unsure if it's indicative of some bigger issue, or if it just means I need to go walk my dog for an hour and it'll have fixed itself by then. Either way, just a heads up.

ON EDIT: And of course, it's working fine a few minutes after I post this. Should've just walked the dog and waited a few more minutes..

Fixed, that was my fault, accidentally killed the server process doing some maintenance and I didn't realise (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

HVMarket will be going down for an update shortly; the downtime should take less than an hour.

The new update is quite large, and while it's been tested as much as my helpers and I were able to, it is possible there are still some hard-to-find bugs. The UI in particular might have issues.

Under the new queue system, HVMarket groups commands together and triggers them once every 30 seconds. This queue will be activated after I'm satisfied the database import has gone through correctly; if there are any major problems, we'll restore back to the old version.

I'll write a post explaining the biggest changes later. Most things can be found in the Help page, and you should be able to work it out pretty quickly by exploring.

Note that there won't be any translations for the new version available immediately; I decided it's more important to get the new version out (in part so translators can familiarize themselves) than to seek out translators and hope they can get it done in a reasonable amount of time.

Okay, post #2, the change log. I'll try to keep brief about the changes, but this was a complete rewrite basically from scratch, so even if something isn't mentioned, it's probable the code behind it has been updated.

Item Search

The item list page is now the default search, which allows you to narrow down what you're looking for with search terms and categories. It now shows the current stock, the 30 day average price and 30 day sales volume, the lowest price sellers are asking, the highest price buyers are offering, and how these compare to the 30 day average.

You can click an item's name to go to its Exchange page.

Item Exchanges

Every item now has an exchange that works like the hath & GP exchange. You can set your price here - including for items you have never stocked - as well as place buy orders.

Please note that if you have a price set for an item, and you send it to HVMarket to sell it, it will sell immediately if there are qualifying buy orders. In this case, you will get paid as much as the buy orders were offering, but if you wanted to sell them higher than that, you should change your prices before sending your items.

(If you've never set a price for that item before, don't worry, it defaults to 0 and won't sell unless you set a price.)

You can still buy from players individually by using their shops from the Player Search page.

Manage Prices

Manage Prices is a place to quickly see all prices you've set, as well as manage your stock. You can update or delete your buy orders here, and your price memory. It should explain on the page how to use it, but remember: this is the new place to manage your shop. The 'your shop' link is now just a shortcut so you can link your shop to people.

Payouts

HVMarket now only pays everyone what they're owed once a week. This is scheduled for Sunday at midday, UTC, currently. You can always see how much you are owed, and withdraw from this balance early, by going to 'Account' and clicking the claim button.

Grouped orders

When you buy many items of the same type, HVMarket will now group them together into one attachment instead of 1 per player you're buying from. This applies not just when you purchase in one order, but also if you purchase multiple times during the 30 second period between each queue cycle.

Longer payment time

Now buy orders are supported, it doesn't make any sense to use a 30 minute payment timer. HVMarket now only automatically cancels orders after 72 hours have passed.

Because this is a much longer period, and it's much more possible to abuse a seller this way, cancellations will be treated slightly more harshly in future. There is no automatic ban system, but if someone is buying from you regularly and then failing to pay, it may be considered trolling and they may have their HVMarket account suspended.

If you are going to be AFK for more than 3 days, please consider cancelling your buy orders first. You won't get in trouble if it's a one-time thing, but if you do this more frequently, it's unfair to sellers.

Post #3: translation stuff.

HVMarket has been thoroughly reworked internally - besides the text changing, the whole translation system has changed. The old translations are not compatible with the new version and it would be a huge amount of work to find even the small parts of the old translations that still apply (and those likely only apply for 2-3 short parts).

I've prepared a new translation script; there are notes inside about how I need it filled. Thanks for your help, and I apologise to all foreign users for the inconvenience at the moment.

Is this because they are only available at specific times and not as drops? I assumed that this was also true for the Platinum coupon. To test it, I sent one to HVMarket, and it seems to have disappeared.

An item won't show on the front page if there isn't a listing so you need to set it from the manage-prices page if you're the first seller.

Yeah, I've listed those as obsolete because they're not normally obtainable. It's not really a standardized category.

As sigo mentioned, check Manage Prices - stuff only shows up on the front page if it's already listed for sale. Manage Prices is the place you should manage your stock and prices from.

To buy 5k elixirs I have to... look up how much they're worth... and enter that manually...? SERIOUSLY? Why is that? It's not like I care about the price, I just want to buy elixirs, previously I just entered 5000 and it displayed the price, (the program, I didn't have to count at all), that's some crap, imo... And what did they do with the sales manager? Previously, I pressed two buttons, updated prices to the minimum and went on minding my business, the money fell into my pocket by itself. But now... I have to do 4 times more actions, for all the same features? I think this update of the HVmarket is a huge step back. If you want to be lazy and avoid working out what price you want to pay, just type 99999 into the price part of the buy order. It will only pay what the sellers actually have their prices listed at. It is the same as the hath/gp exchanges.

Before, you had to press 'match lowest' then 'update prices'.

Now, you have to press the checkbox at the top to select all items, press 'match low', then press 'update prices'.

I am sorry you feel that way. Nobody is forcing you to use HVMarket. Nobody is paying me to develop it. If you dislike it that badly, you could always make your own HVMarket, and then you can have it exactly how you like it.
