Yeah, I had a feeling that the problem was not your download location. Firefox might have more problems with mixed content. Read these:

Some troubleshooting information for persistent loading state:

Assuming you have not made unnecessary edits to the code, I can list a few possible reasons but the list is not exhaustive:

1. You have not enabled mixed content. If you can download archives via standard means but not this script, then I think this is the most likely cause. You should check this post too: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?s=&am...t&p=5398446

2. You are having a hard time trying to connect to the archivers, because a lot of people are still downloading. If you cannot download the archive via standard means, then this is the reason.

3. Something might be blocking this userscript, maybe for security reasons.

4. I cannot test this, but insufficient funds should either lead to constant download failures or persistent loading.

Lastly, as I said in the descriptions I am not a programmer and have never studied this stuff. I would try to help but I can only offer limited support.

Yeah, because everyone is having a hard time trying to connect to the archivers. You will see a lot of failures as well for the same reason. Otherwise you just have not enabled mixed content, and if this is the case, this thread might help: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=229338. If the problem persists and you prefer to download a lot of torrents instead, just disable archive download by setting ENABLE_ARCHIVE_DOWNLOAD to false.

Have you tried everything mentioned in https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=229338? It does not look like you have, especially not the solution mentioned in the last post. If you have then I cannot help further at the moment. I might be able to install firefox and test it tomorrow. What version of Firefox are you using? If you can download archives normally then the problem is indeed mixed content.

Yeap I tried everything I edited all to false yet nothing. Please kindly test it in firefox and let me know. It a life and death situation here man (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

I am using the latest firefox - 68.0.1 (64bit) and yes I can download through archives (low download speed but its downloading the gallery)

This is very difficult for me to diagnose remotely, and I can only guess what you need to check:

1. Is your browser version recent enough?

2. Are there error messages from this script in your console?

3. Are your extensions blocking the script? Are your other scripts running fine? Can you test this script again in incognito mode with all other extensions disabled?

If you can insert console.log('some message you fill in') into the code to test where it breaks, that would be the best.

I'm an idiot. xD Tampermonkey says "x Enabled" when I click the symbol. That means it's not enabled. I needed to click that option. Now it says "v Enabled" and shows "1" for one enabled script.

But now I have the "endless loading" problem. I click "Download 3 Galleries" and it says on the first three "Loading" but nothing happens. I just updated Chrome to latest stable version 75.0.3770.142 (Official Build) (64-bit) (Linux)
It's the mixed content problem. Console says:
"Mixed Content: The page at '<URL>' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource '<URL>'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS."

Kinda funny since I never had any "image loading" problems. Although I mostly use torrents or - if not available - the archiver (and then make a torrent if the story is good xD). Never had problems with these (besides one or two "private torrents).

EDIT: Ah, I only had to allow insecure content by click the shield icon right of the address. I only tried the lock icon on the left. xD

It is easy to enable mixed content on Chrome, unless you are selected for Google's experiments, so do not try Firefox yet. I think it might be a lot worse.

Alright got it working on chrome thankfully. But it keeps missing 4-5 galleries on each page (why ?) have to download them manually.

Is there any fix for that (rest is working excellent)

Download archive works fine here, but download torrent doesn't.

I cannot access to most of the galleries I have in my favs even though I can see the thumbnail, they all say "has been removed or is unavailable". Does this mean they're gone for good?

The latest script seems to get stuck on Loading if a gallery has a torrent. I checked the gallery and it didn't spend GP, so it seems like fetching the torrent itself is causing it to get stuck. fireattack's correction fixed it. Otherwise, thanks for this, very useful.

I agree on a Github to more easily follow updates. Also, you should implement a wait between downloads so it doesn't trigger Ex's temporary IP ban for excessive pageloads.

Thanks so much for sharing this, it does help a lot vs hundreds of clicks! I did see the stuck-loading behavior as well until the fix.

One other minor suggestion if you feel like it: an option (could just be commented out) to rate any downloaded galleries and skip any rated ones as a sort of ghetto "permanent download indicator". Won't work for everyone, but I've been using "just give it 4 stars" as a way to note to myself what I've already saved. Not like ratings matter much anymore (well, not that they have ever mattered that much).
