I already posted that (more shortly) in the pinned post E-Hentai Update Log 2019 and MJ (thnx ^^) replied about cookies, but as the prob stays, I try here too (maybe some other users might offer a solution).

I DL the vast majority of the stuff from exh, while I visit e-h mainly for random monster encounters.
Now, before the site update, if for example I hadn't been visiting exh for 3 days, even if during those 3 days I went on e-h to get random battles or to DL a couple of items, when I came back to exh I could see the "New" flag associated to all the stuff posted during the 3 days since my last visit there.
Now (at least for me) there is a total dependency between e-h and exh, so even if I don't actually visit exh, the bold text there shows up only for the items uploaded after my last visit on e-h.

Any solutions is welcome (I tried deleting all my old e-h related cookies, but it didn't work) starting, if possible ofc, from restoring the former independency between the 2 sites.

Is the difference in search behavior between the normal index and the favorites intended? For example, if you search mind break in the normal index, you get all galleries with that tag, but in your favorites you won't. There, you have to search for "mind break" (with quotation marks) or mind_break for it to work.

I've not been able to access the taggroup tool since the update. This is bad because it was a useful tool for tag cleanup to me in the past and also is linked all over the wiki to list slave tags.

Example: The link to slave tags at the bottom here only tells me "No ACL entry".

I used mind control rather than mind break, but I can reproduce what peterson123 described (working with quotes, not working without).

Maybe he meant it was fixed in 1.1 of the new UI (we're beta testing right now).

1. missing the "new" icon, the bold text is harder to recognize (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)
2. When I search the gallery and stop at one point, I save the date via copy paste in a text file, so I know where I have stopped. but now you can not mark the date anymore, instead it is a fav-button. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
which is pretty pointless, at least for me, because I do not favor galleries from the overview but after opening and viewing them ...

I'm really grateful for the effort, but I am basically against changes. I am glad that nothing fundamental was changed in the update. At least I did not notice anything. But hey, I like the new categories design.

The new tag filters seem really buggy. It's constantly hiding things I don't have set to hidden and refusing to unhide them when I turn filters off for a search

It's not related to this feature update, but I'm gonna ask here since it's gallery related.

Is there any way to put hyperlinks in gallery comment? It seems it automatically gets a link if it's to another gallery on e-hentai, but it seems impossible to make hyperlinks for pixiv, etc.

If you don't see the very obvious "New Tagset" button, then you probably just don't meet the conditions to access this feature.

Where can I get information about such conditions then? No one here even said that this function requires any conditions.

Gold Star or above, it's in the SG 1.0 update notes.

Gold stars and above can have up to 10 sets of watched/flagged tags with up to 100 tags per set. Everyone else can have one set of up to 100 tags.

If you need more than one, make sure you really need more than 100 searchable tags because each tag can be customized to the fullest.

Ok, my bad. I was searching for exact "tagset" word.

Guess it's possible to implement more tagsets with scripts and switch between them when needed.

It's actually possible to do without any at all, so yes genl.
